How likely am I to succeed if I jump off a 14-13 story building? I can't go up to the roof since it's locked, but I can jump from the inside of the bulding to the lowest floor and that's a 13 story fall or so. I've seen stories of people surviving insane falls and this makes me a bit worried since I don't want to be disabled without being able to walk

No method is 100% reliable, however if I were to jump, I'd try to land on concrete and land flat or on my head.

As with any other method, there is a risk of failing this one, too. Surviving 14 stories would not be impossible, but more or less a miracle.

Jumping from the inside of a building could be riskier as there might be more obstacles on the way down that may decrease your velocity

14 stories..., you are dead. nobody can survive that. 6 is fatal enough.

Flat on your back or stomach? I did read that landing on the head is the best way however, if the SI kicks in I could mess that landing up

There are no obstacles, there's just this fence to the level of your chest to prevent people from falling over and then it's just a huge fall from the 13th floor down
I'm aware it's more or less a miracle but I have really bad luck in life so I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I survived absurd things like that

Between 95% and 98% of people will die following a fall from 12 stories or higher, provided that there is nothing obstructing the fall.

Whether or not death would be quick and painless is difficult to tell. If you don't land on your head or neck, there is a chance that you would not die until you had been taken to the ER. You might live long enough to feel the effects of the impact.

Jumping is always risky, even when death is guaranteed. I'd recommend against it personally.

Thinking of it like the lottery makes it even worse I'd say lol

Would it be possible to train myself to keep my body on a position so I can land on my head by jumping into a pool or something similar? Yeah I know jumping isn't the best method but it's honestly all I have, can't buy online to get SN, hanging seems more unreliable and I'm not sure I can get a gun where I live

That sounds like it would be very difficult. You would have to have the skills of a professional diver to pull this off.

If you're absolutely settled on jumping, I would focus more on finding a spot that is high enough so that it doesn't matter how you land.

Try this Free Fall Calculator. It allows you to calculate the top speed your falling body would reach if you jumped from a given height.

Just put the height of the highest building you have access to into this calculator, and you can get a rough idea of what the impact would be like.

Also, hanging as a method is far more reliable than jumping; Jumping is a coin toss; you could die instantly, or you could spend several hours writhing in agony only to recover and become a ward of the state. Both partial and full suspension hanging are basically guaranteed to cause unconsciousness within a few minutes, and kill you within half an hour as long as your not interrupted; still a painful method, but you have some idea of what your going to experience, whereas jumping is completely unpredictable.

I would really spend more time on the forum looking at more attested methods before you try this. It's not a good method.

Thanks for all of your advice, it's very helpful
I was looking into hanging and it's the other method I could pull off but partial hanging apparently needs me to find a certain pulse in my neck to know where to place the rope, problem is that I don't have regular hands and it's kind of difficult to find that way. I can't even close my hand to try to "choke" myself as the thread explains
As for looking more at the forum, I have indeed and SN seems like the best way available? But I can't make online purchases, and I'm not sure I'd be able to get it where I live

Don't worry about choking yourself out; I never managed it either. It's not as easy as the guide makes it out to be, and you don't need to be able to do it to complete partial.

As for finding the pulse, it helps to get up and move a bit so your heart rate increases. That way you can find it easily. Once you've found it, it's a matter of positioning the ligature so it constricts both your and arteries, while not putting pressure on your windpipe. This is easier said than done unfortunately. If you restrict your veins but not your arteries, blood will build up in your head and face, and it will be very uncomfortable. This is one thing to avoid. It's far more important to not place any substantial pressure on your windpipe, as that would be comparable to the sensation of being strangled.

SN is by far the most attested method on this forum. If you can't make online purchases though, it is probably not a viable method for you.

Hope some of this info has been helpful.

That makes much more sense now, I thought it was due to my irregular hands hahah
I'm not sure about how to find the pulse, I can't really make the "V" shape with either of my hands on my neck due to missing fingers/deformed ones and that's.. awkward, so to say, so would it be possible to hang myself just to test and find it that way with trial and error?

Yeah I've heard SN is the most reliable nowadays but I'm not sure I can get it where I live since I can't make online purchases and indeed it's been quite helpful! I appreciate all of your help, hope you have a nice day

I honestly wouldn't care about traumatizing some random dudes lol might as well cause some fucking terror before I go and have a laugh in my last moments
And that's not such a bad idea. Jumping from that high it'd work pretty well, I'm actually going to keep it in mind!
