Hey everyone.

So I have been thinking about CTB for a while now and the method ive been going back to is jumping. Various SN/drugs/OD method is hard to come by for me, as are firearms and hanging doesn't look like a great option. For where I live, I have plenty of tall hotels/buildings I could jump from that are high enough. In fact, there is one hotel that has rooms as high as 26 stories with balconies and some of the rooms facing the backside of the building. They are not on a major street that people would be passing by/able to see. it's a back area where the hotel has a number of AC and power units on the ground level. My question is, if one was to jump from say the 22nd floor and land in the back area, if they were to land on one of these AC/power units, would that make it less likely to survive? Would it be better to land straight up pavement/concrete? Would that be a faster end of things? Any and all thoughts would help. Thank you.

I feel like the concrete would be better to land on because it might be sturdier than the AC units which might crumple when you land on them. Concrete could be deadlier and a quicker death because of that maybe? I'm not an expert though, so don't quote me, ha.

Another thing, when I was researching the method myself, I heard that when you land on your head from jumping, it breaks your neck and can even decapitate you. So jumping head down may be a quicker death. Again, I might be misremembering this, so do all the research you can if you wanna do this method 👍.

that's true. its also If I hit the AC units. I could miss them and hit the concrete next to them. I can try to position myself as much as possible but not know exactly how I would land (or if I will land on head, back or feet first). I would think being that many stories up would make fatality more of a certainty but you never know for sure.

The positive about jumping on this side of the building as opposed to the front is that there are no pedestrians/cars going by who you have to worry about either landing on or visually traumatizing them or having them call 911. Much more likely to pull this off (being I could get my SI under control).
