Angus Barbieri was the 382 days guy. Was a while back.

All of mine were no supplements at all. Just water. His involved vitamins. On average in my fasts, I usually lost about 15kg, 5 of which came back within a week (water and glycogen stores). In regards to drinking the water, the correct technique to stay alive is to drink at least 3L per day, preferably 4, slowly across the day. No downing a glass all at once. That's what flushes electrolytes. I can't speak to what happens if you supplement with electrolytes and vitamins as I didn't do that, but I assume it means you could drink faster.

Of course if the goal is death by starvation all of these provisos are less relevant.

I figured as much, but I looked up if dehydration can cause a stroke, basically does say it could. that said, being privy to sucide how likely is that to happen? that's one reason I didn't drown because if I try and last a while but end up coming up I thought what if there could be damage. I just need to get a backpack fill it up and go find a some type of body of water I guess. I haven't gone outside in 7 months, I turned 21 so a plus is I'll buy something and get blackout drunk, or close at least maybe that help. was told on here by someone that drowning on Benadryl is not a good idea, does anyone know that? I figured it would be good, like make me drowsy make it easier. live in a rural area of a southern state so I dread some of this, even it would be easier to get a gun, idk I'm scared of that interaction like why am I getting a gun, why am I getting a gun and I don't have a job?? or just the vibe I think I give, they'd probably think I'm some crazy that's gonna kill instead of do it to myself. which is ironic, people sniff it off me but my own mom aware of barely some stuff. blotchy skin, red grayed eyes, deep purple eye bags, even more skeletal. doesn't even notice that really

A few minor updates: idk maybe ~70 days total fast and ~45-50 days continuous fast? I don't really count anymore.

Electrolytes-
I got some electrolyte powder as recommended by someone after my last update and it helps a bit with the dizziness and motor skills though I still do have dizzy spells especially right after getting out of bed. I went with a different brand that had most of the same ingredients because it's more of an even split between the different electrolytes but the two downsides are it doesn't completely dissolve even when I use way more water than necessary and it has insulin as an ingredient for some reason. I figured the insulin probably doesn't matter all that much for me in the grand scheme of things. As for usage I use way less than the recommended dose (about one spoonful every maybe 2-3 days instead of the recommended 2x 10g scoops per day). It makes my stomach a bit upset sometimes but nothing too serious as long as I'm pacing my water drinking.

Sick?-
Yesterday when drinking my water I got a bad stomach ache and then ended up sitting on the toilet for a while and pooping a surprising amount along with more bad stomach pains as I tried compressing my abdomen. I imagine my digestive tract is almost completely empty now. My best guess is the water was probably stagnant (it didn't smell bad but my immune system is probably suppressed). I ran my water jug through the dishwasher along with a spare one so I'll be a bit more sanitary in the future and hope that it doesn't happen again.

Workout-
I decided to try a light workout to see if I can speed up the fat burning a bit. The goal was 10x squats, 10x pushups, 10x lunges each side. After standing up and letting my heart rate go back to normal and the dizziness pass (from the vasovagal reflex/orthostatic hypotension/whatever) just the squats or one side of lunges alone is enough to make my heart rate soar. I didn't time it or anything but I'm guessing around 120bpm. The push ups ended up being a no-go. On the way down my left elbow buckled and got a sharp pain. I did some stretching and tried again and the same thing happened.
Not sure if this result has more to do with the fast or with the fact that I've basically been an invalid for the past few months but I'm hoping that if I keep at it it will get a bit easier. At least I hope I find the motivation to do it daily but we'll just have to see. Anyone have any good easy workout suggestions? I don't really want to go out of the way to learn tai chi and i'm not a big fan of crunches/curl ups. Not even going to try pull ups in my current state even though I have a pull up bar. Maybe I could walk to HEB (the grocery store) and see if they have a scale so I can weigh myself lol. I'm guessing probably around 130-150lbs (what is that in non-freedom units. ~60-70kg?).

Been a rough few days, especially today. A couple days ago I got nauseous so I went to throw up but only ended up dry heaving over the toilet a couple of times. Today two things happened though.
-First I had a strange feeling when I woke up so I got up quickly to go to the bathroom (instead of sitting up for a bit and then getting up). After I was done and was drying off my hands I passed out for the first time. If I felt dizziness I probably would have sat down but it happened really suddenly. Afterwards I got up quickly again (lol) and just plopped myself into bed and lied down for a while. This caused me to break out in a cold sweat for a while.
-A few hours later (just now) I felt nauseous again so I went to the bathroom to see what would happen and I actually threw up 4 times. Each time was one dry heave followed by a small amount of what I think may have been stomach acid because it burned more than normal vomit in my throat. All together it was still a very small amount of vomit but I was surprised that anything came out at all.
I think I may be feverish but I'm not going to bother digging up a thermometer just to check.

Admittedly I've been a bit behind on hydration so the goal today is to drink a lot of water.

As for workouts I pretty much settled on jumping jacks because it doesn't leave any muscle soreness. I can't do the full range of motion in my legs and my balance sucks but I'm able to work them in whenever I feel motivated enough to do so (probably once every few days).

For physical appearance I can see up to my third rib now. My abdomen looks funny because it's sunken in on the right and left but my distended stomach still sticks out in the middle. My thighs still jiggle if I run my hand across them but I at least hope that they are skinnier. It's hard to tell.

Got 2gal of bottled water delivered via doordash (embarassing lol but I probably can't walk to the store in my current state) to eliminate water bacteria as the source of my issues.

Even still threw up several more times today. All in one session. I think about 6-10 times in total but not enough total volume to cover the toilet water. It was greenish or yellow greenish in color. I did some googling around and it seems like electrolyte imbalances, small intestinal blockage, or the liver purging itself are potential culprits as well as others that I probably haven't found. I think liver purging itself is unlikely this long into my fast though.

I think I'm going to break my fast for about a week or two. Besides the vomiting I get a lot of nausea every time I drink any water and if I can't keep water down my method is going to turn into VSED really quickly. The only thing left to decide is if I want to try walking it to the store or just doordash a bunch of broth to my house tomorrow... hmmmm

edit: realized it was 6am when I posted this. Walked to the grocery store, though with at least 5 breaks in between. Inside wasn't so bad because I could lean on the shopping cart the whole time. The reason why I went in person was so I could see if they sold any electrolyte powder but I couldn't find any. The closest thing I found was something that advertised that it had electrolytes but in reality had like 4% DV of some of them and the #1 ingredient was sugar..... Got myself an 85% dark chocolate bar as a treat for going because I'm curious if it will taste sweet considering I haven't had any sugar in a long time.
Got an uber for the way back because fuck walking back with extra weight on my back. Also threw up two more times when I got home. This time it was more dark orange. Eating some chicken broth now so the fast is officially on hiatus. I think for the entire hiatus I'm just going to do broth and applesauce though and try to get my water and electrolytes back to good levels and then see what happens when I jump back into the fast.

edit 2: The 85% dark chocolate still tastes like poop but it's poop with a slight hint of oranges. Unfortunately there were no cool single source foreign chocolate to try just hippy chocolate from California, hippy chocolate from Colorado, and hippy chocolate from New Hampshire so I got a regular bar of Lindt (NH). I made sure to try it before having any applesauce too, what a drag x.x
