Help Start chat vs start conversation

What's the difference? I might not ever use these features but just curious.

Starting chat with someone will give them an initial notification that the chat was started. But you will not get any further notifications even if you keep posting in the chat. Neither of you will receive notifications when the other posts. There's also no archive there. Old posts will disappear automatically.

In the conversation feature, all posts will stay forever unless both of you leave the conversation. And you will get notifications for each and every message.

It changes where the pm shows up~ By starting a chat, it'll give you a notif for the initial message and any reactions~ However, you'll have to check that chat to figure out whether you've received a message or not~ In the case of starting a conversation, it sends it to your mail icon instead, which will instantly notify you of a reply~ :)
In short, starting a conversation is 1,000x better~ :)

It's a private message~ :) You can invite more than 1 person to a conversation tho~ There are public chats too~ Some users practically only use those~
