I have decided to buy another supply of this in case sources start to disappear more than before. I remember how sources began to get taken down after historic news articles emerged about certain methods and this site. I can imagine suppliers being pressured to stop selling again in light of the amount of exposure SS is receiving.

The right to die is a fundamental human right, and a peaceful passing should not be a rarity offered to those who fit an extremely narrow criteria and to those who have enough money for voluntary euthanasia clinics.

I would like control over my own life and death. I would like to pass on my terms. It's my body, my life, my death. We should all be afforded respect for our autonomy as long as we are making an informed choice.

Yes it's always the relatively peaceful painless things that get restricted. However people have been hanging themselves for millennia and you don't hear anyone that wants to restrict access to rope just because some people use it for suicide.

I can taste the dishonesty surrounding all this. I can feel in my gut that the large majority of the efforts made to stop suicide are not done in good faith. Its not about protecting and helping people. I read about morticians being requested to change the cause of death from suicide to other things, or refusing to label a death a suicide even though nothing else would be conceivable.

Suicide must affect something bigger, maybe it fucks with the funding doctors or hospitals or states get, I don't know, but something insidious is going on. It all feels so disingenuine.

Unluckily wikipedia is edited also by idiots; it is surprising that they can read.
Inserting the name of this website in an instructive encyclopedia is like inviting students to come and have a look;

Digging deeper, the user "Saizai" is the one who added the suicide section. They joined Wikipedia 16 yrs ago. They added link per NYT piece, but the record makes it sound like they are NOT a SS member. Just a wiki junkie doing updates.

I get that, and that was my original theory as well. If enough people want to kill themselves that those institutions are threatened by the loss of revenue? We're in a whole lot of trouble.
