it's just nuts, like, I remember so vividly seeing a documentary as a kid where they basically exit-bagged pigs for a "humane death". thing is, pigs don't go buy shit on black Friday or pay taxes. their market value is practically contained in their death, as pork. whereas for humans (in our current system) it's the opposite. I'm starting to believe anarchism will do one more good thing now lol.

I have decided to buy another supply of this in case sources start to disappear more than before. I remember how sources began to get taken down after historic news articles emerged about certain methods and this site. I can imagine suppliers being pressured to stop selling again in light of the amount of exposure SS is receiving.

The right to die is a fundamental human right, and a peaceful passing should not be a rarity offered to those who fit an extremely narrow criteria and to those who have enough money for voluntary euthanasia clinics.

I would like control over my own life and death. I would like to pass on my terms. It's my body, my life, my death. We should all be afforded respect for our autonomy as long as we are making an informed choice.

I know, but I didn't know ABOUT it until 3 weeks ago. That's a long long time I was looking for something like it and couldn't find it. I don't think I'm alone. For example, if someone were to send it to their local congressman I bet it would do more harm than good. I'm just trying to stay safe and hope everyone else is too.

PPH and similar books are completly legal, and publishers have lawyers. Exposing more people to them will take some heat from the forum. You should send one to your local congressman. Controversy made Final Exit reach #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list in 1991.

NYT wrote an entire long-ass front page article about this website which they apparently studied for months and heavily focused on the SN method...yet they do not mention PPH or Exit International once.




There are sources one could add from EI's website and make a note that they advocate it as a method.
You couldn't say that this was the reason for SS finding out about it unless you found some mainstream news source that said this. But simply adding this info to the article would make it seem less like some 'death cult' thing and would maybe give a clue for other journos who might write about it in future.
Just adding statements about Exit International wouldn't require a news source if you lifted it directly from their website.

I remember when Dr Philip Nitschke did seminars about how easy it is to get sodium nitrite and how it won't likely become restricted because it is just a salt. Even then I could not get access to Sodium Nitrite in the UK. It is next to impossible to get it in some countries. And now with the inclusion of that disgusting New York Times article and Wikipedia, I fear it will be even harder to get as time goes on. I'm checking out this year. Good luck to all!

Why is 4chan never listed as a source for learning about SN as a suicide method? That's where I learned about it after some anon politely told me to kill myself for disagreeing with him about a cartoon. This was way before I even found SS.

Seriously, as I've already said before this site is garbage when it comes to needing to be encouraged to commit suicide. Reddit, 4chan, and Twitter are way better at making people want to die than some forum that makes people feel accepted.
