• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Enjoy yourself and pleasure yourself sounds like the same idiom in my ears as a non native speaker. Gladly, I never confused them in English lessons. This is why I also felt like enjoy yourself has a weird slight sexual connotation. Lol.

You know, I decided to watch KSI's new music video out of curiosity (I do love me a good hate) and I was supposed to find a comment from a suicidal person saying that their song really helped them. You know, a lot of shit and all but it's really good to know that his music went on to resonant with this person. I truly pray for them and hope that they are able to make good on those plans of theirs.

I am so excited about the US election. It is the first US election where I have no school, uni or other responsibility that keeps me from binge watching media reports soon before and afterwards. I might wake up in the middle of the night (in Germany) to learn about the first results.

I hope very much that Harris wins. I say 70% Harris wins and 30% Trump wins.
2020 I said 2/3 Biden wins and 1/3 Harris wins.
2016 I was fully convinced HIllary will make it. But I was pretty young and did not know anything about politics.

I am not sure how to feel about the fact that there are seemingly more gore related posts in this thread. I have not clicked on any gladly. I decided to quit gore forever some years ago and it was such a wise decision.

Different topic: How much had I pay to SaSu so that they show ads for the Harris campaign?

Tomorrow, I have my first appointment with my psychiatrist after the stay in the clinic for acute suicidal people.
Thus far she ignored everything. No word of concern in her mails. She must have read the report. It is said there I almost took the SN which I stored and hid for a long time at home. I wonder what her response will be.

My new psychologist also gets this report. I wonder what her reaction will be.

I think I will play it down with my psychologist. And maybe play with a little bit more open cards with my psychiatrist. But I am not sure.

I am again dating. At the same time I consider to kill myself when I get another rejection which will very likely happen soon. I am broken beyond repair. There is so much pain. I cannot hold it much longer.

Here an essay writen by me about the positive effects of SPAM.

The Positive Effects of SPAM: More Than Just a Tinned Delight
SPAM, the iconic canned meat product introduced by Hormel Foods in 1937, has often been the subject of jokes and culinary disdain. However, beyond its reputation as a mystery meat, SPAM has several positive effects worth acknowledging. This essay delves into the cultural, economic, and practical benefits of SPAM, illustrating its multifaceted value.

Cultural Significance and Longevity
SPAM has cemented its place in global culinary culture, particularly in regions such as the Asia-Pacific. In places like Hawaii, Guam, and the Philippines, SPAM is not just a food item but a beloved ingredient woven into traditional dishes. The adaptability of SPAM has allowed it to become a staple in diverse culinary traditions, from SPAM musubi in Hawaii to SPAM fried rice in the Philippines. This cultural significance highlights the product's ability to transcend its humble origins and become a cherished part of local food heritage.

Economic Benefits and Food Security
During times of economic hardship and food scarcity, SPAM has provided an affordable and accessible source of protein. Its long shelf life and versatility have made it a reliable food source during wars, natural disasters, and other crises. For example, during World War II, SPAM played a crucial role in feeding troops and civilians alike, earning it the nickname "the meat that won the war." In contemporary times, SPAM continues to be a valuable resource for food banks and relief organizations, ensuring that nutritious meals are available to those in need.

Practical Uses and Culinary Versatility
SPAM's practicality extends beyond its role in emergency situations. Its pre-cooked nature and ease of use make it a convenient ingredient for quick meals. Whether sliced, diced, or fried, SPAM can be incorporated into a wide range of dishes, from breakfast scrambles to hearty casseroles. Its flavor and texture complement various ingredients, allowing for culinary creativity and innovation. Moreover, SPAM's consistent quality and taste provide a reliable option for home cooks and professional chefs alike.

Conclusion
Despite its reputation as a quirky canned meat product, SPAM has proven itself to be a valuable asset in multiple contexts. Its cultural significance, economic benefits, and practical uses underscore the positive effects of SPAM on communities around the world. As we continue to navigate the complexities of food security and culinary diversity, SPAM stands out as a resilient and adaptable food product with a legacy worth celebrating.

Here another essay about the positive sides of spam. (but here refered to e-mail spam)

The Positive Effects of Email Spam

Email spam, often seen as a nuisance in the digital world, has garnered a reputation for being a disruptive and unwanted presence in our inboxes. However, while the overwhelming majority of spam emails are indeed trivial or malicious, it is important to consider the unexpected positive effects that spam can have on both individuals and the broader internet ecosystem. Though this is not an argument for the prevalence of spam, there are significant positive outcomes that result from the existence and mitigation of spam emails. These effects extend to the development of more robust cybersecurity systems, the refinement of spam filters, and the creation of economic opportunities within the digital advertising space.

1. Advancements in Cybersecurity

One of the primary positive effects of email spam is the role it has played in the advancement of cybersecurity technologies. Spam emails often contain harmful content such as phishing attempts, malware, and malicious attachments. The prevalence of spam has necessitated the development of sophisticated email security measures to protect users from these threats. Over time, spam filters, firewalls, and advanced algorithms have been created to detect and block spam, ultimately leading to improved security practices.

The ongoing battle against spam emails has driven innovation in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), as email providers and cybersecurity companies constantly evolve their techniques to stay ahead of cybercriminals. Spam filters, for instance, use AI and machine learning to recognize patterns in email content, sender behavior, and subject lines to detect spam. These developments in AI and cybersecurity, born out of the need to combat spam, have far-reaching applications beyond email, improving security for all online activities, from banking to e-commerce.

2. Refinement of Spam Filters

Spam emails have also led to significant improvements in spam filtering technology. The demand for effective email management tools to eliminate unwanted content has led to the refinement of filters that distinguish between legitimate and spam messages. These filters have become highly sophisticated, using algorithms that analyze email metadata, content, and user preferences to determine the likelihood of an email being spam.

The constant evolution of spam filters has not only made inboxes cleaner for users but also helped to reduce the cognitive burden of sorting through irrelevant or unwanted emails. Users can now benefit from the ability to quickly identify important communications while avoiding the clutter of unsolicited marketing messages, newsletters, and fraudulent offers. This improvement in filtering technology has a direct positive impact on user experience, productivity, and overall email efficiency.

3. Economic Opportunities in Digital Advertising

Another indirect yet positive effect of email spam is the economic opportunities it has fostered in the digital advertising industry. While many spam messages are unsolicited advertisements, they highlight the significant demand for online advertising and targeted marketing strategies. Despite the often disruptive nature of spam, the economic model of digital advertising has evolved, leading to the rise of more effective and legitimate forms of marketing.

The analysis of spam emails has also contributed to a better understanding of user behavior and preferences, enabling advertisers to develop more targeted and efficient campaigns. Digital marketers use insights gained from analyzing email trends to fine-tune their advertising strategies, ensuring that relevant content reaches the right audience. This shift has encouraged the growth of legitimate digital marketing channels, such as newsletters, affiliate marketing, and personalized ad services, which are now integral parts of the global economy.

Moreover, the fight against spam has created job opportunities in industries such as cybersecurity, software development, and digital marketing. The continuous demand for expertise in spam detection and email security has led to the creation of new roles and career paths, driving economic growth in these sectors.

4. Legal and Regulatory Frameworks

Spam emails have also catalyzed the development of legal and regulatory frameworks aimed at protecting consumers and businesses from harmful or intrusive messages. In response to the growing problem of spam, countries around the world have enacted laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union, which seek to regulate the sending of unsolicited emails and ensure that personal data is protected.

These regulations have not only helped curb the prevalence of malicious or fraudulent spam but have also set standards for online privacy and security. They have forced companies to become more transparent in their communication practices, respecting consumers' preferences and giving them control over the types of emails they receive. This shift towards greater accountability in the digital marketing world can be seen as a positive outcome of spam's existence.

5. Heightened Awareness of Online Security

Finally, the pervasiveness of spam emails has raised general awareness about the risks associated with online communications and the importance of digital hygiene. Spam often serves as a reminder to users to be vigilant about their online security practices. People are more likely to adopt safer behaviors, such as using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and regularly updating their security software, due to the ongoing threat posed by spam.

This heightened awareness has led to a more security-conscious internet population, with individuals becoming more mindful of the potential dangers lurking in their inboxes. As a result, there is a stronger emphasis on personal responsibility and proactive measures to safeguard against cyber threats.

Conclusion

While email spam is undeniably a disruptive and frustrating element of modern digital life, it is important to recognize its positive effects. The fight against spam has spurred technological advancements in cybersecurity, led to the refinement of spam filtering systems, and created economic opportunities within the digital marketing space. Additionally, spam has contributed to the development of legal frameworks and heightened awareness of online security risks. Ultimately, email spam, despite its negative connotations, has driven significant progress in a variety of fields, demonstrating that even the most unwelcome phenomena can sometimes lead to beneficial outcomes.
