Over the past 2 years, there are more countries where euthanasia and assisted dying is legalized. Strange as it may seem, progress is being made in this. Do not confuse euthanasia and assisted suicide, in many countries only the AS is allowed.

I got the impression that some significant and powerful part of the world elite wants to gradually legalize euthanasia/AS.

In which countries other than Switzerland is euthanasia and assisted suicide allowed for tourists/not citizens of the country? Where is the easiest place to get it for non-terminally ill tourists? Diginatis really provides services only to terminally ill patients? I read the news in which Diginatis allowed euthanasia of mentally ill (even with hard depression only) citizens of other countries.

Euthanasia Countries

1) Belgium
2) Canada
3) Colombia
4) Luxembourg
5) Netherlands
6) New Zealand
7) Spain
8) Australia: Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia

Assisted Suicide Countries

1) Belgium
2) Canada
3) Luxembourg
4) Netherlands
5) Spain
6) Switzerland
7) United States: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC
8) Australia: Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia
9) Austria
10) Colombia
11) Germany
12) Italy
13) New Zealand

Germany recently legalized assisted suicide. In fact, as I understand it, Germany laws is allowed AS not only to seriously terminally ill patients, but to almost everyone who wishes AS, if they are firmly convinced of their decision. They prescribed in the constitution of the country that everyone has the right to decide whether to live or not. According to the Constitutional Court, basic human rights provide for the freedom to independently and at their own discretion to dispose of their own lives. "This freedom includes the right to commit suicide, the right to ask others for help and to use the solutions proposed for this." In my opinion, the laws of Germany in this regard can be taken as a gold standard for legalization.

What do you think about the prospects for legalizing euthanasia in the world?

It may seem surprising, but some people from governments and the elite are in favor of legalizing euthanasia for almost everyone who wants to do it quite strongly enough. Perhaps their true goals are to save money on people with disabilities, pensioners, mentally ill people and others who are a burden for them, "disabled people" (in their opinion) on whom they have to spend money. Kind of eugenics maybe. But more and more countries are gradually legalizing eustanasia, not only the first world countries, but even Colombia. The problem is that society does not want this, the majority of the population, not the government.

I believe that people from all over the world should try to fight for the right to die, for the legalization of euthanasia. Like LGBT people fight for their rights. This is the only reasonable completely legal option and people have a right to it. There is no other way out, any sites like this they will close/castrate sooner or later.

Every day we see from all sides how the importance of the rights of gays, lesbians, transgender people is being discussed, but almost no one talks about the most basic right of every person: the right to control his body and his life, to have the choice to live or to end his life (for any reason, this a personal matter of each person and only he can decide). But everyone will inevitably grow old, get sick, die, for example, anyone can get an incurable form of cancer. The right to a peaceful, painless legal death affects literally every one of the 7.8 billion people. No one will live forever, everyone will have to die. Humanity is so illogical and short-sighted.

Of course, the rights of LGBT people are very important and I fully support giving them as many rights and freedoms as possible. But the impression is that the only and most important thing that worries most people is who, with whom, how exactly has sex. The fact that millions of people suffer from horrible, excruciating, incurable physical and mental illnesses, poverty, genetic problems, poor social conditions and a bunch of real insoluble problems does not really bother anyone. You have the right to choose your gender, but you have no right to decide whether you live or not, you have no right to dispose of your body.

In my ideal world, anyone who wants to die would be given a free, lethal dose of Nembutal on request, no questions asked.

Yeah, I know that will never happen. So I welcome small steps like more countries/territories legalising euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide not only for the terminally ill, but also for those suffering from an incurable & unbearable disease/condition.

I fucking hate the Nazi scum because the despicable vermin gave a permanent bad name to euthanasia & assisted suicide with their Aktion T4 program of involuntary mass slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people. Because of this, whenever right-to-die activists try to push for more humane legislation regarding euthanasia & assisted suicide, they are immediately branded by opponents as "evil", "Nazis", "mass murderers", "genocidal maniacs", "eugenics advocates" and what not.

Having said that, I'm glad the world is moving forward (albeit slowly) on the issues of euthanasia and assisted suicide one step at a time.

I think our descendants will be lucky more than us, sooner or later the right to death will be respected and people will be able to leave peacefully

Some of the countries, like the Netherlands, do not offer it to non-citizens.

Almost all, if I'm not mistaken. In the Netherlands, getting euthanasia just without even having fatal diseases and it is free, is included in the medical insurance.

This is interesting.I didn't find any information about it in English, but I found it in German by using translator.

So Br.de says :

In English :
''According to the judgment of the Federal Constitutional Court of 20200, it is not only the seriously ill who have the right to self-determined and assisted suicide, but all people and at any time. Because there it says: "The right to dispose of one's own life, which touches the innermost area of individual self-determination, is in particular not limited to serious or incurable illnesses or certain phases of life and illness." This means: According to the court, all motives for suicide are to be regarded as equivalent. Decisive for the right to be professionally assisted in suicide should not be the motive for the suicidal wish, but exclusively the free, firm and persistent will of the suicidal person.''

The important questions are :
1.Does a non German, non European Union person have a right to suicide in German clinic?
2.Can I die if my reasons are psychological?
3.What suicide organisations/clinics accept not seriously ill people?

3.What suicide organisations/clinics accept not seriously ill people?

1) As far as I understand, only German citizens have the right to this
2) Yes, but this is decided by a special commission
3) I did not find such information, in my opinion, all state clinics.
