hi! I was unsure whether to put this in here or offtopic, but it technically is CTB related so I put it here. mods, it I should've put it in offtopic instead, I'm sorry, let me know if I should repost it there.

making this thread because the majority of, if not all people who use this site are suicidal, and for me it's always felt nice to have things you can relate to. I hope at least a few people can relate to these, only putting in songs with general themes of suicide, but I listen to much more songs with dark themes that aren't just related to CTB, so if anyone wants me to send some, let me know. also, anyone else, please feel free to also share songs with the same themes in here if you want to.

I don't know that it's about suicide, but Let Down by Radiohead hits different, without fail. It reflects how blatantly uncaring the world can feel at times, and the motif about "growing wings" and it being "hysterical and useless" really resonates--I often feel like an alien, with no idea how to interact or truly find my place in the world. Whether my mood is more hopeful and interpret it more as flying elsewhere, or more as an impossible dream and relieving fantasy in the face of suicide as a last resort, it fits.
It's one of the few songs that still feels deeply relatable and really makes me feel something.

Since you shared some vocaloid songs (love TUYU and Kairiki Bear too btw) have you heard of Siinamota/Powapowa-P/Highcolor_SunZ? In 2015 at the age of 20, Siinamota passed away. The circumstances behind his death were never actually revealed, but it is heavily speculated (emphasis on speculated) that he committed suicide. Prior to his death, he released two songs "Good Bye Everyone" and "Please Give Me a Red Pen". The first song's title is pretty self-explanatory, it's meant to be a good bye, the second one is meant to be the singer looking back on their life and marking their mistakes with a red pen. And then a few months after his passing, the song "Healthy End" was released posthumously by his friend/colleague. If you read the lyrics, you're able to see the state his mind was in:

In the summer I said that I don't want to live anymore
But I didn't mean it as "I want to die"
That's what I've always thought until now
Until I had realized "the reason that outshines all others"

Regardless of whether he did commit suicide or not, his songs always made me feel seen. Being able to relate so heavily to his music and seeing him "succeed" in life gave me a tinge of hope, that maybe someone like me can survive in this world too. So his death hit me like a truck. I still cry while listening to some of his songs, but there is some relief knowing that his suffering has ended.
