• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

The only reason I'm not CTBing is I don't want to hurt my gf. But I do really want to CTB. If she wanted to CTB, I'd want her to get help first like I've tried, but once a few avenues are exhausted I'd be delighted to CTB with her. I just don't want to be responsible for depriving her of possible good times, because deep down I know she doesn't really want to die.

If my dad wanted to die, it would be different because I rely on him for a start, but also I'm not hanging around for him, he can handle my death. I'm hanging around so I don't hurt my gf. So if he wanted to die I'd insist that I need him and that he get help. I'm selfish.

I know the feeling Jodes, I rely on my family a lot...and plus, lastly, you're not selfish. I CAN see you are compassionate.

I would say it depends. For example if they were suffering either mentally or physically, I'd help them if that was the case.

i have a coworker who is very suicidal. i would say i don't do any of the above. i told her i think she should try therapy (she hasn't before), but i don't force it. and i don't give advice on methods or make a pct or anything of the sort. but we talk about how we feel together, without really bringing up methods or when/if we plan on actually doing it. i just essentially let her know she can talk to me about whatever she wants

I would talk to him/her to know that it is not an impulsive decision, I would respect his/her wish (if not on impulse) but I don't think I can help with information on how to do it.

If someone else wishes to ctb then it's really nothing to do with me, it's up to them whether they want to die or not and that fact should be respected. Nobody else ever has any right to interfere with the person's decision.
