• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm asking this because it's something that bothers me intensely everyday, so I wanted to know more people who also face this and about their experiences with it, and how they deal with it.

I've never been diagnosed with anything, but does OCD include constant intrusive thoughts abt all sorts of things? Idk, I obsessively clean for example, but that's by far not the only thing I guess. My thoughts at times torture me

it annoyed me enough that i just tried hard to stop doing them.. i still do OCD stuff some times but i stop it pretty quickly now.. just try forcing your self to stop as soon as you can even if it feels uncomfortable.. kind of like retraining it or some thing..

Yes, OCD includes intrusive thoughts as well, it can manifest in various ways. I have a intense cleaning/hygiene OCD, so I clean myself aggressively to the point where it hurts my skin. Basically, if I feel even the slightest bit dirty, I get very uncomfortable and start washing my hands repeatedly or even taking a shower all of which is completely compulsive

Sometimes I try to just ignore my OCD too, but it gets to a point where I feel so uncomfortable, agitated, and nervous that I just do it again

I have ocd but it's a good trait if you are an artist or creative.

Hey I am really sorry to hear you are dealing with this. OCD can be so challenging to live with. Have you ever tried ERP therapy? Talk therapy is usually not effective for OCD. I am an OCD therapist and we use ERP because it is the most effective treatment for OCD to date. No one should have to suffer.

I do basically the same thing, it's gotten worse over time, I've never rlly connected it with OCD tho, I thought that to some extent it was normal.
I'm sorry that you're struggling

Yep. How do I deal? I think about CTB non stop. Could be the new obsession tbh and being here the compulsion. Woke up 9 weeks ago realizing my whole life is a compulsion, reassurance seeking or avoidance behavior. And now having an existential crisis. I don't want to live anymore with this and many other conditions I have
