Hi, as my method, I chose Azide, and I liked it because I needed way less of the substance to feel its effect compared to SN

One of my Azide test-ingests, when I took a bit more than I planned, caused my vision to darken, tachycardia, and a headache. I'm not doing test-ingests anymore, because after the last one my heart hurt for a while...

However, there are very few posts about it here, which is understandable though, since it's harder to get than SN, but it's disappointing, of course

I tried searching for posts by other users who supposedly took it, but I only found a couple, and even then it wasn't really clear if they actually used it

Anyway, if you know someone who had a successful/unsuccessful experience with Azide, or if you have such an experience yourself, please share it here. Thanks in advance

Maybe you've seen it already, but there is a sodium azide megathread that has some case reports on the last page:

I don't know of any users on the forum who have used it, though

Thanks for bringing up this post, it's one of the ones I came across. The author didn't take the full dose (5 grams), but only took a small sip, after which he quickly threw up because he hadn't taken an antiemetic, but based on my own experience I can confirm that even that absorbed amount is enough to cause the symptoms he listed

It seems it was his post that gave me the idea about capsules, which I later abandoned (I suspected that, out of possible panic, I'd try to throw them up). By the way, he mentioned Propranolol, and I'm also planning to use it due to tachycardia, although I'm not sure how much it will help, since Azide is an extremely strong vasodilator. I wonder if that's why it's not listed as an optional drug for Azide in the PPeH?

I suppose that's why a higher dose (10-15 grams) is suggested, as with a dose like that, the chance of absorbing 2-3 grams from just a small sip is higher

If you do decide to go out by sodium azide, place a warning sign outside the room saying toxic sodium azide cautioning for hazmat. It's also generally not a good idea for it to come in contact with heavy metals for example spoons, etc due to potential explosiveness and toxic gas.

I would strongly advice against ctb with Sodium Azide. The dying process is excruciatingly painful and unpleasant and unlike SN, with Sodium Azide the brain/consciousness is the last thing to go. You will stay conscious thru the entire dying process. Also the corpse you will leave behind will be poisonous and you risk poisoning the first responders who will find you. Have you ever had a very painful cramp in your leg or any part of your body, well imagine your entire body in such painful cramping. That's how it feels like to die of Sodium Azide, and death from it is not very quick too.

Can you point to a source for this as the PPH (April 2022) indicates the possibility of some severe symptoms but notes some had zero symptoms at all.

Is it just as dangerous with sodium nitrite?

No I don't think so, but anything to do with chemicals or gas should probably be noted.
(I'm not an expert on this sorry)

I accessed some toxicology reports of people who died from Sodium Azide and they all said the same thing - dying from it is a horrific ordeal.

Sodium Azide is much more dangerous than sodium nitrite. Sodium Azide can even explode the drain pipe when in comes in contact with a metal surface, also the corpse itself and the gasses that the corpse produces are toxic.
The only thing better with Sodium Azide compared to sodium nitrite is the fact that for sodium azide there is no known antidote. Death from it is 100% certain if you don't vomit it up.
