Hello!

While reading the Ami guide I read the following:
The duration between ingestion of the drug and the onset of death is between 12 and 48 hours. This relatively long time to onset of death is related to the fact that tricyclic antidepressants slow down the metabolism, and thus it may take longer for the body to completely absorb the active ingredient (the active ingredient inhibits its own absorption, so to speak).

My anti depressants slow down my metabolism.

This makes me worried since I wanna CTB while using SN.

Do you think I should stop my medication for a while before taking SN?

SN isn't metabolized into a substance that is lethal. When u ingest the SN solution you ingest Na+ and NO2- ions. The NO2- ions are doing the job directly. There's no need to metabolize anything.

Do you know why we need to fast before then?

Because it increases the chances of throwing up if you don't ?

As far as I understand it, first the fasting process is there to reduce the chance of vomiting and 2nd thing is when you ingest things on an empty stomach they're usually absorbed faster than when the stomach is full of food - right after lunch for example.
