Yeah, actually I've been thinking something similar.

Offtopic: How much did the Energy Control analysis cost to you, 70 euros? The times I've sent samples I never told them what substance was, in order of getting a real result.

Yeah, it's 70€ per sample; I know they collect some data with no personal information included but I fail to see why naming the substance would influence the results. They have been around for 20 years nearly!

I've found this research about the metabolizing of enteric capsules, and I'd be very pleased if someone could help me to interpret it for its possible applications to SN method.

In my understanding it takes about two hours for the capsules to pass the stomach phase and a total of seven hours for a complete absorption in the intestine tract. Could this process be shorted with the meto regime (stomach emptying) and the 8 hours fasting? May the intestine mucose absorb properly the SN in comparation with the stomach? Or might it pass all the intestinal tract without being absorbed? I don't know either if a salt like sodium nitrite would present incompatibility with some intestinal enzymes.

Sorry, I'm stuck in the middle of possible alternatives to liquid use of SN (all because of my emetophobia).

@gingerplum
Super, super busy today, but please PLEASE remind me to respond later, ok? I need to think about this and maybe research some stuff. :happy:

Guys! We are asking someone to do research for them! Does anyone see a problem with this? So @gingerplum could go off for an hour or so researching just for someone to say in the space of 3 seconds "nah, not going to do that now - who knows a good knot for partial?"

I was asking for another opinions to this option, considering 1) it's a non well explored possibility for a painless approximation to SN 2) I am not a native english speaker and 3) I have not a scientific formation for a proper understanding of the paper. Don't worry about my enquire, @gingerplum, you've been very kind but I think in case I use capsules I would do the normal ones without enteric covering.

I found some more information about capsules today if you're interested:

Supposedly vegetable (cellulose) capsules of SN will be released in the intestine and Gelatin capsules will dissolve in the stomach.

The difference between the two releasing is about 15 minutes. This might mean cellulose capsules are more optimal to prevent vomiting over gelatin.
