I'm confused as to why people say 90%+ SN is required; it doesn't seem necessary if the other component is something benign? Any information or thoughts on this?

Generally you need 95+% purity because of the way SN absorbs into the body and the other components change the structure of it all, no idea how to word it, I'm not very smart, but I know there's a whole science reason behind itThe goal is to drink 25 grams of SN. If your SN is say only 50% pure, that means when you weigh out 25 grams, only half of that is going to be SN. This can lead to failed attempts.
As a side note, if you get the 6% SN used for meat curing, the other 94% is usually regular table salt, which can be terrible to ingest in large amounts.Similar threads
