I think you're right. I don't think it's absolutely essential. But for me it's more about the anxiety reduction + getting sleepy so I don't really think about the discomfort. I fear that my anxiety / panic will allow SI to take over and ruin my effort. The benzo is supposed to help suppress some of the panic. However, they are really hard to find without a prescription. Any alternative for anxiety reduction would be so helpful!
They're just really beneficial but not crucial in determining success, not calling for help is the biggest one.
According to PPH, marijuana would be a great option to Benzo. Its no hard to obtain with local drug dealer.

often people don't use benzos, so it turns out they are not so necessary, sometimes even just sn and still succeed, so I think you can do without them. I bought anti-ametic and painkillers, I think that's enough

For how difficult it is to get prescription benzos, majority did not use them and still ctb, some made just use of what they had and that was it. Although, I'd never ever take just SN.

According to Uitweg (Dignified Dying) by Boudewijn Chabot SN can cause several side-effects -before- loss of consciousness. He's no fan of the method.

Might there be some confusion between SA and SN? There's no antidote for SA, but there's definitely an antidote for SN.

Marijuana should be indica so its relaxing and calming effect. Sativa or hybrid are for more active mental/physicals highs and indica is more chill
Pregabalin increases GABA which will calm you. Not es effectively as benzos though. They are only included for calming the anxiety and making it less unpleasant. They won't make you pass out faster as they don't affect oxygen delivery. If you can't access benzos you can try sleeping pills, even oct antihistamine based ones can help a bit. Just filling your stomach with booze is a no because it can increase nausea.

I have a subscription. It's the Dutch version, but I should be able to access the English one (if I find out how). Problem is that it's not in PDF format. Screenshots are possible, but it's 662 pages and without video.
What format is it exactly? Usually any kind of "reader" has a print option and you can print it to a PDF. But I understand when you r not able to do it rn bc of lack of energy / mh stuff and all that. No prob!!! But anyway it'd be sth for the community. :-)
Could you not just screenshot the SN pages? Surely thats only maybe 10 screenshots?
You have to login at a website and then a page viewer opens. I'm guessing it's in Java. Save as PDF may be possible (but you still loose all the video), but I think Irfanview will be faster.
I think the video material isn't the most important as long as the text describes everything. It'd be better than nothing. :-)
I tried accessing the US edition, but got an error message. I'll try again in the WE, but so far it seems I only got the Dutch version.
