SN : how silent ? would a hotel be ok ?

Hi,

i'm new so i can't use the research yet i think.
I was wondering how loud is the SN method. Aside from puking, is there a risk of many noises ? Would it be ok to do it in a hotel, late ?
I guess it would be better to do it at night, but how much time is needed before being found ? I know it is supposed to work in less than an hour but i wanna be careful.
