SN gone hard

I bought my SN about 2 months ago and have not opened it. It had been in a sealed bottle but when I shake it I can hear it has gone hard, a solid lump. Will it still be OK or will I need to buy more?

Should be fine. If it's sealed, kept at a reasonably stable temperature then it will not react and will still be nitrite as oppose to nitrate.

Think about it, schools and colleges keep this stuff for a while even once it's opened and it is still nitrite.

Mine was the same, it's fine. Just poke it with something and it will break up.

Thanks, that's put my mind at rest. I wonder if it's because it has no caking agent in it?
