Some people are fasting more than 16 hours but it's maybe too much, idk. I'd like to see the 2026 PPH version if I can wait so long.

the longer you fast, the more bile your body will produce; causing SN to be even more painful and less effective. 6-8hrs is ideal.

I based my protocol on this:

1761563519807

And thought because I want a kind of empty stomach not to make too much of a mess, I will make morning oats my last solid meal. My bowls usually empty after oats. So, 15 hours will be liquids only, maybe broth. I've seen longer fasting with successful attempts, and I kind of feel comfortable with it. I may sneak in an ice cream too for lunch.

Yeah, it says some degree of fasting is advised. Fasting is over done here. Some do it up to like 2 days when it's really not necessary. I'll be having a late dinner, nothing heavy, and do it early morning when I wake up which I believe is more than enough fasting while it also let's me not go out super hungry.

The goal is for your stomach (and maybe the initial part of your small intestine) to be empty so that SN can be absorbed as quickly as possible. For most people. this takes an average of 6-8 hours. Unless you have a condition that would extend that time, fasting longer than that is not really necessary.

How does anyone manage to pull off the protocol and getting the other stuff together after taking such high doses of medication?
