Might as well take yourself straight to A&E, or at least provide a detailed list of what you've taken and what time to save them faffing about.I need a better plan
I'll show them me mixing it and drinking it so they have proof i've done it too. I'm awaiting a mental health review I have my lies waiting for them heheMight as well take yourself straight to A&E, or at least provide a detailed list of what you've taken and what time to save them faffing about.
On a serious note (and I'm sorry for laughing, it's just that you reminded me of Baldrick), I'm so glad that the oxygen deprivation didn't have more serious consequences. I assume you're heading straight back onto a ward?
It wasn't even a normal NGT tube they were trying to use it was a Ryles Tube which are a lot thicker and wider in order to pass charcoal through it. and the part where it says they've got concerns as it's never been done before was a bit wtf.. I do remember before the 2nd intubation i had chest pain and a migraine and the doctor asked if I wanted pain relief and I said yes, I remember him giving me a large syringe of something and then i went dizzy and blacked out so im guessing that was the fentanyl he gave me without my consent unfortunatelyUp on closer read I noticed how much it was and how complicated. I'm really sorry you went through all that. For some reason i had thought one would just be unconscious then antidote administered along with other necessary treatment and you just come back to reality. This was a lot more complicated than that and was hard to read. It seemed like a traumatic experience? especially with you refusing to engage and asking to be left alone and them sedating you to go ahead with the NGT. Ironic how they say continued treatment "in her best interested" despite your refusal and despite you not wanting them to. but I guess it kinda makes sense with the whole trained to save a life thing.
Yeah, even reading it from my side was hard I can only imagine how you felt going through it. It seemed like they apparently were just doing whatever they wanted claiming "we can't reliably say that she has capacity to decline interventions". It's quite sad how this is considered legal and ethical for some reason. Yeah exactly… I was just trying to sleep because it was 6am and he said your drowsy because your condition is deteriorating and i was like bitch no i'm tired because im being woke up every 30 mins the coma didn't even count as sleep because when i woke up i slept for 2 days straightYeah, even reading it from my side was hard I can only imagine how you felt going through it. Yeah, using 20g is too much, I read that 6-7g 10g maximum is enough, also commiting in public place is not good idea.I still had SN in my gut
Sadly it's not like in the movies, they don't seem to give a crap to a verbal and repeated refusal let alone a DNR badge....Why aren't you wearing a no resuscitation badge?
sadly i don't have a DNRWhy aren't you wearing a no resuscitation badge?
AHAHAH it's the dogs!!! I love dogs so much maybe there's just a connection between anything relating to dogs that brings me back to life. I can't believe i didn't even see the connection, you have made my daySidenote because my brain is looking for distractions, @CocoToxBase , I've realised that the first intervention was because of your dog and the second was because you were in a known dogging area. I think I've discovered the problem.
I'm glad i was unconscious when they put the catheter in because i hate catheters aha. Thank you and no problem!Girl… you went through some stuff there!!
The NGT sounds incredibly uncomfortable - I would have declined too. But what made me cringe was the catheter. Yikes. But yeah if you are in a (medically induced) coma for 2 days that comes with it.
Like many others have said: I'm so sorry for what you went through! Thank you for sharing. Best of luck for the psych eval and I really hope you live in a country with publicly funded healthcare.
Most of them are afraid of vomiting because that would mean failing, and not everyone has access to as many doses as others. Imagine that someone spends the little they earn to buy 2 doses, one falls out of their hands due to nerves and the other falls out. vomits, that person will take a knife and start stabbing it.Some people here are so afraid of vomiting and tachycardia lol, SN is literally listed in the PPH as a peaceful method. Some would rather suffer continuing to live while waiting until a Nebuntal sent from heaven fall on their laps.
Lol, sn comes in 500g packages 250g minimum, you could kill yourself and 20 encarnations after. Most of them are afraid of vomiting because that would mean failing, and not everyone has access to as many doses as others. yes when i get a chance. I have 50g leftAre you going for a 3rd time
I don't think i could have picked a more isolated location. I went there every night 3 days prior and stays there until 3am. there's a sign saying no cars allowed past 10pm. I seen the odd car drive through and that's about it. No police cars ever came. It's 40 minutes away from the nearest village there's no main roads nearby it's just bendy back roads. the location was a small car park in a forrest. I think the police are lying and somehow they got information I was going to ctb there because I know i'm unlucky but there's no chance they just appear when I decide to take the SN. Why not the nights previous? Police are sneaky bastards, i feel like they're covering someone up who ratted me out personally..Thirdly - Thank the stars you're not a vegetable and can try again. I'd suggest traveling to some place isolated next time if that's possible.
Hate to say it but probably my room. I hate the fact that my dad is probably going to be the one that finds me but i've tried every other option in order for my dad not to be the one that finds me.. :/Damn, thats unlucky that with both your attempts you were found. Have you decided where you will be for your 3rd attempt?
Did you take meto before to prevent vomiting? How painful was the migraine and the stomach pain and your hands and feet were hurting right? What was that sensation like?Hey everyone on the 12th June I survived quite a traumatic SN experience and I am willing to share and include medical documents for information purposes. I have received all my medical records, there is 500 pages but I've took screenshots of relevant parts to show what SN does to the body and how they treat it If anyone is interested. My case is quite strange as I would initially respond to methylene blue treatment and then deteriorate again.
On 12th June I drove 2h away from home to a remote location, It was a car park in the forest. I sat there for a few hours and drank 20g of SN at around Midnight I also took Buccastem, Propranolol, and Diazepam hours before. The symptoms I experienced was slight tachycardia with no chest pain, I felt some discomfort in my stomach, my hands and feet where cold so I turned up the heating in my car but I was still shaking, I had a minor migraine and just felt very sleepy. I'm not sure about the timings of when I actually went unconscious and my heart stopped. According to the police they do 'patrol' checks in that area for the reasons of people dealing drugs there and having sex in the car and they came upon my car and seen me 'asleep' and they say this was at around 1am. I had the SN packet in the car so the police told the Ambulance what I had likely taken where they sent out an Advanced Paramedic who was carrying methylene blue. I was clinically dead when the police got to me, there was a defibrillator on the car park which they used and It brought me back into a normal heart rhythm along with CPR. When the Advanced Paramedic got there they administered methylene blue straight away. I started to show slow clinical signs of improvement and that's where I remember briefly waking up on route to hospital in the ambulance. I'm not sure what my initial methaemoglobin levels where on scene but when I got to hospital there where at 70.3% I received another dose of methylene blue on arrival to resus.
My oxygen saturations on the finger probe on arrival was 47% on high flow oxygen and dropping to 15% at one point. GCS of 8, very pale with blue lips and abnormal respiration with intermittent pauses in breathing requiring breathing aid via Bag Valve Mask. My Methb dropped from 70.3% to 36.7% after the 2nd dose of Methylene Blue, I required another dose of Methylene blue which dropped my Methb levels to 7%. I actually had got up and walked to the toilet at around 3am with 2 police officers and then went back to my bay and started to get some sleep. Around an hour later they wanted to do a repeat ECG and realised here I was very drowsy, I had turned blue again and my sats where dropping to 60% and my Methb raised from 7% to 40% despite having 3 rounds of methylene blue. My GCS dropped, I became hypoxic and I had abnormal breathing so I was intubated and moved to critical care. Despite all the treatment I received my MetHb kept getting better and than rising and this confused the doctors. I had over 10 doses of Methylene blue, 4 blood transfusions, exchange transfusion but despite all this I was still getting worse so they could only think that I still had SN in my gut that was slowly being absorbed. This is where they inserted a Ryles tube while I was intubated and delivered activated charcoal 50g every 4 hours and aspirated my stomach contents. I was intubated in Resus and extubated in Critical Care but was then re-intubated a few hours later due to my condition rapidly deteriorating again.
There's so much more I could write but I've tried to summarise it to the best I could. Below are links (in time order from admission) of the medical notes. I have scribbled out private and confidential information but I have left all medical notes. Also don't get confused with 'table salt' they thought the SN packet was table salt at first and then realised it was SN.
Hope this is helpful :)

I took buccastem which prevents nausea related to migraines, i did feel a little bit sick but i was able to hold it back. the migraine wasn't painful just discomfort I just lay back in my car and relaxed my stomach was fine. my hands, arms and feet went cold within 5 minutes i'd say this was the most uncomfortable out of all of them i couldn't really move my fingers because of the cold but i put the heating on full blast to try warm them up. I'm not sure about the timings but I got very very sleepy and lightheaded and I just closed my eyes and tried to sleep but it was fairly quick.Did you take meto before to prevent vomiting? How painful was the migraine and the stomach pain and your hands and feet were hurting right? What was that sensation like?
After taking SN, how long did it take you to be painless and unconscious and dead? I plan to in my room.
Why is it your arms and feet Go cold? Is that normal with other people that did sn method? Do you think meto he stronger than buccastam? What can I use to prevent the migraines?I took buccastem which prevents nausea related to migraines, i did feel a little bit sick but i was able to hold it back. the migraine wasn't painful just discomfort I just lay back in my car and relaxed my stomach was fine. my hands, arms and feet went cold within 5 minutes i'd say this was the most uncomfortable out of all of them i couldn't really move my fingers because of the cold but i put the heating on full blast to try warm them up. Gl. Unlucky someone intervened, but at least you have some sn left.yes when i get a chance. I have 50g left

my breathing got heavier but not like i was gasping for breathe it was just like running up some stairs that's the best way i can explain itSo in terms of breathing when you took the sn (not in hospital) how was that? Obviously from what you can recall? Thanks
