im being bullied really severely right now and i need a quick way to ctb i know slitting your throat is a common media trope with suicide but does it actually work?? is it peaceful and quick? i just really need a way out right now and nothing else is working. how deep do i need to cut, and what should i use?

see the thing is it can be painless if you do it right, but its incredibly easy to fuck it up


common case scenario your throat basically turns into a blood splinter and you'll end up gargling and choking on your own blood, dying a slow painful death as you collapse into a pool of it

From having a reconstructed airway, this is absolute fucking torture - feels like you're drowning and choking at the same time.

YOU DO NOT WANT THAT FEELING! Trust me on this. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

There's other methods. This would also be incredibly messy and would take multiple minutes of death rattle style breathing until you loose consciousness

it is definitely possible… but it seems very agonizing and a scary way to go even if you know where to cut. could you reach out to any adults around you or school officials that could help you with your situation? your first choice should never be ctb if you're getting bullied, it's not your fault :(((

its painless if you do it right, the method is actually used to slaughter farm stock animals but its done by trained people and the object is required to be very sharp so it could be smooth

also used to execute people in islamic areas since the method is considered halal as its painless (if the executioner is trained enough to do it correctly of course)

I'd imagine it's hard to get the right force and angle though if you're doing it yourself ?

definitely, OP not having experience with this and the SI that kicks in are 2 major factors

There kinds of death are hard for achieve. And very painful. Nothing will activate SI like physical pain, but I also don't like to promote suffering.

Which is why I strongly suggest you exhaust all other options first, and only then examine peaceful methods to ctb.
