Nah. I've slept with wired earphones for years and the worst thing that happened was that I woke up with a red line on my neck from friction. Even if it started choking you, you'd wake up.I do this a lot and I'm fine. I assume if the cords accidentally wrap around your neck it's ok because it won't have the pressure to strangle you.
