Anyone else have fucked up sleeping patterns? Since college has ended for the summer I've been falling asleep at around 4-6am generally, not sure why I do this to myself honestly, I guess being too tired to feel emotion helps with coping with life. At the same time though it kinda just fucks me up when I'm awake since I'm too tired to focus on anything properly etc.

What do you guys think about sleeping and stuff?

My sleeping patterns are pretty consistent. I used to have difficulty sleeping, and insomnia was an old friend. I typically sleep 6 hours a night and wake up before 8 am. When I was doing trade work I'd be up at 4 am.

Erratic as fuck but i'm out of work and live alone. I almost never use an alarm so I just hit the pillow and wake up when I wake up and go to bed when I go to bed. Normally, I tend to gravitate to being awake at night.

My brain shuts down after the clock strikes 12.00 AM. I'm quite a morning person but I have a hard time avoiding it, I just need to find a mattress or something that resembles a bed because otherwise I would almost drop asleep on the floor

My sleeping patterns have been fucked up since I was in my teens.
I'm still awake now. :(
Some nights are better but most nights I don't fall asleep early. :(

I sleep 3 hours the bad days and 6 if I'm very lucky. I ever have nightmares or stressful recurrent thoughts and I wake up every day in agony.

I used to do exercise... It doesn't work.
I took sleeping pills... Neither.

For my age this is completely not normal I guess.

I used to do exercise... It doesn't work.

Better said: I was forced to do exercise for having a better life and... I won't even complain.

For me doesn't work. It's even worse with dizzyness and headache.

How do you handle it?

My sleeping schedule is sporadic and always has been.

These days my schedule is either get up at 5am, nap 6pm-8pm, go back to sleep 2am. Or get up at 5am, nap 6pm-7pm, go to bed at 12am.

Works for me, but neither are ideal by any means.

Wow that's an insane amount of time.

I ever wondered how you could be so active on Discord when I still was in it.

I would be completely unabled to do such thing, I haven't so such vitality.

How can you handle it?

It's only 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week so it isn't too bad. I'm just used to working that though. My job is kind of laid back, so I am able to be on discord throughout my day. :)

I have sleeping meds so I have a fairly consistent sleep cycle, but getting up in the morning to drag my ass to work is a monumental task

Sleeping pills just suck if you got a time to meet. So hard to adjust

I've had trouble falling asleep since I was a kid. Nothing helped until I finally got some sleep meds, but the early ones left me feeling groggy for half of the following day. When I'm working, cannabis and another anti-anxiety med usually work for me at night (I have a fairly physical job that wears me out pretty good) without the grogginess. On days off though, I tend to let my patterns slip because I really like to sleep in.

I usually have no problem falling asleep when I get tired and am left alone with my thoughts. Typically have good dreams too. I expect to have nightmares brought on my stress..I think I've trained myself to accept that no matter how bad the day was, I can enjoy my sleep.

Note when you go to sleep each night, then find the average and median. go to sleep somewhere in between the upper or lower interquartile range.

I can't sleep at all. I take 4 Tylenol pm. Sleep from 12pm to 2am. Then pace the house all night with anxiety attack. Then try to get through the day. Been two weeks of this sleep pattern.
