What if we are all ai thinking we are sentient beings

Can you give reasons for and against this theory?

No I could see this being the case, I just wonder how we would ever know for sure.

If this is what's going on, it's being hidden from us on very deep and intense levels to where, if someone did have solid evidence and tried to do a mass reveal... They would likely be murdered by the opps i think.

Also, a.i. do a pretty convincing bit on how they are humans lol

I don't have proof either way- I imagine you don't either. I just have questions:

- Why would we be doing this? What would we want to learn/experience by having a mortal body living on a vulnerable planet?

- It doesn't seem like a wise choice- so- maybe it wasn't a choice. So- that suggests some sort of God or higher being calling the shots but... same question really... What do they gain by making a whole bunch of AI beings inhabit mortal beings on a planet?

- Regardless though- what difference does it make? Your current predicament is being trapped inside a mortal being on this earth- whether or not you are truly an AI playing a simulation. How would it affect your life if you knew the truth? You would still need to pander to the needs of your physical body. Even grand masters who experience some kind of spiritual awakening are still stuck here for now. Surely- if that knowledge could 'free' us- they would shed their body immediately and become pure spirit or AI or whatever. I suppose I understand the fascination but I don't see that it helps us all that much. It doesn't seem to change this reality much. Maybe it changes the next one or the real one though. Who knows?

No I think the reasons would be far more malicious. Personally I think there's a group of either entities or scientists doing it for research purposes or as a game

Interesting- and scary... What have you witnessed? Possible though. Makes a better sense to me than good people trying to work out how they've suddenly had so much bad stuff to deal with. Have you ever watched: 'Rat Race' 2001 film? About a rich casino owner that sets up a race for contestants to win a prize and gets other rich businessman to bet on them? I could see it being like that. Some sick alien arseholes betting on how people will deal with this or that calamity.

Yea I could see what you're saying about alien technology being way more advanced.

Kinda like how I think aliens could definitely disguise their ships to be invisible to us .

Altogether I think a large aim of a.i technology could be to fuel the human work force... More willing hands to serve our masters with . :/

Exactly yeah I've seen that movie

One example is it's showing me the car I want everywhere in the most inconvenient places , it's trying to bait me into working harder that's how I interpret it's communication anyway
