Should we respect it as a choice or not?

If someone wants to livestream their suicide should it be respected as much as their choice to CTB

I think yes. I suppose that for many people, it's a way of having company and not feeling alone as they leave. I also think it can be a valuable record of the experience. But I think it needs to be very clear what is going to happen, so that people who watch it can make an informed decision about whether or not they want to see it.

I have very mixed feelings about the livestreaming element because I think it would be traumatising for other people to watch, and thats not something i'd want to put anyone else through personally, but I also understand that people might be experiencing a lot of distress at the time and there might be other motivations such as someone not feeling 'seen' for their entire life, which I can definitely empathise with.

Yes, my biggest concern would be that people would end up watching the stream without really understanding what they're going to be watching, so yeah I think a warning would help prevent that
