Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Ive been partly functional for the last few months, but suicidal thoughts and overall dark thoughts has been haunting me a lot lately.
I wanna die, but I have my parents who would be crushed and my doggos, so I rly dont wanna but I dont know what I would do if I get my hands on some shit or just lose it.
There is a hospital and a doctor there I am going for a checkup every 2 weeks. I can ask her to come there for a few weeks. Ive been there 5 times, and it is really not that bad, and it may help, but may also make me lose it since there are things u gotta do all day; go to groups, have 6 meals, individual… and Idk if I can manage that since getting out of bed and doing basic tasks has been a challenge these days.
Idk, what do you recommend?

I relate to this a lot tbh.

I would recommend doing it. I mean despite it being difficult and you probably not liking doing all those groups things you have to do etc Part of you kind of feels it's worth trying, no? That perhaps you owe it to your parents and dogs to try?

At least then if you try it, and it doesn't work and you get to that point of no return you will have no regrets. Because if you don't try it I think you would have such regrets at the end.

You maybe feel like somethings got to change right? Like if you just carry on as it is, things maybe just feel inevitable?

If so again I would just recommend doing it.

you seem to be going through a lot of trouble, and yes I think you should go and get the help you need if you feel that's what will benefit you (and those around you as a second priority). If there is a part of you that feels it's necessary not to succumb to the urges and go to the hospital, I think it's better you do so. I have been admitted 5 times (though involuntarily) and I can't say it helped me long term, it did for some people and there are times when it just helps to create a mental break from the world and calm down

If you're asking, the fact that the idea even came to mind shows that that's what you want.

Yes. You should go.

Yes I think you should go, if you have been there before and find that it's not that bad. Definitely give it a try.
