could the recoil of the shotgun ruin my aim? I heard the bullet leaves the gun before the recoil occurs but im not sure. Wanted to hear perspectives of others.

You definitely need to practice a little beforehand, get use to the recoil. If you don't, then yes, you might end up missing- both from the recoil and the shock itself if you aren't prepared for it. Shotguns are powerful.
how can i get used to the recoil if im gonna be aiming it through the mouth? Its not like i can practice it more than once lol
