• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would shoot in the heart too.
I mean Id rather be a quadriplegic than a retarded quadriplegic with half of my face blown off, if I do survive

Is there really that much of a chance of becoming paralyzed from a shot to the heart? I think that's more a problem with a shot to the stomach. There's a lot of muscles in your heart area, so it's hard to imagine a bullet going all the way to the spinal column.

Will a shotgun in the mouth be instant? I imagine it will completely destroy the back of your head
that's how one of the columbine shooters killed himself , it was instant . He put the shotgun in his mouth and blew off the back of his head

I know that people survive headshots, but it's important to note that not all brain areas are necessary for life. Those that survive headshots are always those that lost less important brain areas, mainly in the frontal cortex. There is not one documented case of someone surviving a gunshot to the brainstem. Brainstem regulates breathing and heart function as well as being crucial for consciousness. Destruction of the brainstem is invariably fatal.

It doesn't work 100 percent because its subject to human error: ignorance, being too drunk and flinching being the most obvious ones to me. Weapon choise matters too.

Destroy the brainstem and you die, no exceptions. You are also gonna blow you head almost clean off if you do it right

Personally, I don't like this argument. Reminds me of a line from Chernobyl; "Why worry about what isn't going to happen?"

It doesn't work 100% because it's subject to human error, as you said, so I think having a backup plan that isn't "I hope I don't wake up in a hospital bed with full/partial paralysis and no freedom to make my own choices" is prudent.

What that backup plan in can depend on the person. Personally, I would take a lethal amount of drugs so that it is a 100% chance of happening, even if you someone survive the gunshot wound.

Partial noose around your neck + shoot head. If you get saved, you'll only be saved for 20 minutes max.
