An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I mean nature vs nurture us just how well raise your kid to adapt vs general genetics soooooooooo in theory, sure. But let's not act like nature is just on the parents.
I got cheated on and then dumped by my partner in my early 20s. I loved her a lot and what happened at that time basically started my near continuous depressive episodes. It used to happen every now and then before that as well but it got worse after that. That's kind of when I started losing interest in sex. I dated another girl for a short time after that. We broke up but we are still friends (not like we talk very often). But yeah, I haven't had any interest in sex for like 10 years now.
Not always the case but that's the risk you take having kids. That statement the PP said about kids not being a long-term fulfilling endeavour (after you've already had one) is shocking to me tho. But I partly got the last thread on this subject locked so I'm trying to be careful what I say...
