Sending a goodbye text issues

I want to send a goodbye text, because I can be more sure they will receive that compared with an email so I'm wondering if there are some tactics to avoid revealing location in case they alert authorities...

I'm wondering if I could send the text and then leave the phone on the train, so the location pings from the wrong place, but I guess I would also have had to pay the hotel in cash too, which might raise suspicion? Presumably if you pay with card, police can track your whereabouts quite quickly?

Or just send the text at the last minute? I don't know how quick welfare checks would be, etc.

Also the goodbye text is kind of blaming them... I feel huge resentment towards them, but do you think it would be best not to leave final notes of this kind?

the only way i found was a timed script to send email. but for that you will need a pc with windows. if you are going to do this on the street, you could use a vpn, turn off the location, send an email and then turn off the phone. The most practical thing would be for you to write a letter by hand and leave it hidden in your things, sooner or later it would be found. but if you want to leave this world because of how other people treated you i would like you to rethink that. do not take revenge on others on yourself.

why do you need to leave goodbye text? what effect will it have once you r gone? if you seriously just want to leave, than nothing else matters cause everything is over once your brain shuts down, nothing exists after that anymore

My phone (Samsung Galaxy) has a schedule text function. Does yours have one that you never noticed?

As to the content of your text...if you still have love for him in addition to resentment, then it may be better just to take that with you to the grave. If they have any attachment to you and are tuned in at all, then it's likely they'll feel guilt without you having to say anything.

I'm going to send some emails to clients letting them know I'm gone, I'm organizing pending things as much as I can, I'm directing a colleague to continue my work. I'll leave a farewell letter explaining why I did it, I feel the need to give some explanation. but that depends on each one

Because some of us recognize have people we still care about and recognize that they will continue to be around even if we aren't. What do you have against considering other people?

I just think it's not worth risking your ctb attempt on a stuff like that

there are all sorts of ways that you can leave a note/ text without it risking your plans.

I don't think it has one, but maybe I'll get one for this purpose.

In my opinion I'd do it last minute as I think it could help build courage to prevent SI, scheduling is a good means to get the note out. You could even mail it out. Once someone gets the message I'm sure it'll be passed around by word of mouth.
