I'm having second thoughts and it's terrifying me. I have until the weekend to go through with this and my nerves haven't gone down a bit, as a matter of fact, they've gotten worse. Could anybody soothe my nervousness?? Or maybe tell me what I can do to make it easier when the time comes. I'm starting to worry I won't be able to go through with it even though I need to. I need to.

If you're having second thoughts, listen to them.

You can always try again later but you can't take it back once you go past a certain point.

Get a pen and a bit of paper -

Write down exactly what it is you're afraid of. Validate your feelings, tell yourself it's ok to feel this way.

Then write a step by step list of what exactly it is you're going to do.

Hopefully your plan written out will make you feel a sense of control and certainty.

I'll do this, thank you. If it all falls through I've put myself in a rough place but I can try to crawl my way out of it.

I know, but it feels like the longer I take to really make up my mind, the more of everybody's time and energy I'm wasting. Thank you for your words though, I suppose I can wait until a little later if my nerves don't go down by tomorrow.

This. Suicide is a very personal thing, and you will know if/when your time is. People often talk about SI, but it will all fade away if/when you're ready. Don't sweat it. As iloverachel said, we're all here for you no matter where you may be.
