  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I think there truly is nothing, for an indeterminate amount of time before you become conscious again. If you think about it, the fact that we are conscious right now at this very second is infinitismally small, the fact that the universe expanded at just the right miliseconds after the big bang for the gases to sustain life to occur are also very very small. Most likely, in the span of time of the universe there is a chance for an exact molecular configuration to occur once again to give rise to our consciousness once again. We may not be a human, maybe a different life form. Who knows. Or perhaps in an alternate universe (if they exist) a clump of cells could gather together once again in the exact formation it did in this universe, which will give rise to "your" consciousness arising again. Just a theory though. Eternal oblivion sounds nice too.

Personally, I have a horror of oblivion, perhaps that personal horror is responsible for my suicidal ideation. I don't think, frankly that there hardly a minute when I don't think of death. But, using logic, I am led to assume that if nothingness cannot be conceived of, it cannot exist. Something cannot come from nothing, and vice versa.

Yes, choice is the key here. Other life forms apparently have no choice. As humans, we do, even if that involves ctb.

I am no longer scared. I embrace it, it's the only thing that can give me peace with no thoughts, memories of here that I have endured so much trauma, rejection, social isolation there is nothing here for me as a social being but misery, loneliness, disconnection and exclusion. Death will give me peace, death will set me free from these mental and emotional scars and shackles

95% of humanity is spiritual and is wrong. 5% of humanity if materialist and is right.

After death there is nothing, that's why this 5% is often nihilistic.

Existentialism is almost an insult, fuck you far-left JP Sartre.

Absurdism is a form a nihilism according to me.

I'm not scared at all really, instead life is the thing that scares me. I believe there is simply nothing after death and that brings me a lot of comfort. I will be at permanent peace and I wont have to experience anything ever again.

I think we will probably be in the same void of nothingness like before we were born.

But when you think about; Every second someone is coming from non-existence into existence and every second someone is leaving existence to become non-existent.

I'm not saying that it goes on forever, but I think there's a chance of reincarnation. I just hope that I won't be reborn as a human in that case.

I agree with above poster who stated that if you are concerned about the afterlife or whether or not there is one that you may not really be ready to ctb.

It's hard to think when you're in this emotional state but try to think of ways to improve your life, believe me I know how hopeless things seem and feel, before you make your final decision.

This video is from a woman who claims to be able to channel spirits and says that suicides are not treated any differently when, and if, we "cross over"

Many videos that discuss near death experiences warn that suicide impacts how you will be treated in the next realm, they don't want their tales of having a near death experience with the beautiful white, welcoming light and an indescribable feeling of unconditional love to make death seem more enticing to those who are contemplating suicide, which is understandable.

But many others who have had near death experiences as a result of a suicide attempt echo what this woman says; that people who commit suicide are not sent to a bad place and that they are not punished for ending their life.

I'm not trying to convince you to to commit suicide in order to go to heaven, but people who are suicidal do not need the extra layer of torment of thinking that even God will reject them.

I have trouble with the logic of the anti-suicide attitudes of those who have had beard death experiences.

According to their logic a serial killer who lived out their natural life span are somehow better off than a troubled person who would like to end their suffering and I have pointed out this logical flaw in many in the comment section of many videos. It doesn't make sense.
