We are living in hell. Not going to there.
Reminds me of the old chestnut 'Religion is for those afraid of hell, spirituality is for those who have already been there.'

That's what I thoughtHell is here on earth.
I think we are already in Hell, however, it´s not impossible that CTB could lead to an even lesser realm than this if one is to believe in karma or sins in some way. This needs research, but since we are talking about post-death information, it´s not precisely easy to obtain.im not religious but what if the old tales are true and heaven and hell exist? i dont want go to hell but hell is better than forever darkness, darkness is hell for me there is not a win for me i just want to end the pain
That what I was thinking and It matches to things you can read in NDE reports. But even If It is not a problem the question remains: how to never come back here?In particular, I believe to an extent that if you die with a very negative mindset, if there is anything to New Age ideas or Buddhism, you would land in a place even worse than this. But if you CTB peacefully and without traumatizing anyone these fears would be unwarranted.
Absolutely the same thoughts.i'm afraid of going to hell too, even though i don't believe in it. i don't think that people go to hell for committing suicide, but i feel like i'm an awful person and if it were to exist i'd go just because i'm terrible.

In college one of my art history professors told us that suicide wasn't considered a sin until the cathedrals were being first built. Apparently there were so many accidental deaths that the church had to encourage the workers by telling them they would go straight to heaven if the died working on such a holy endeavor. What happened was a bunch of suicides by workers thinking they would go straight to heaven so the church declared suicide a sin only then. I have not heard anything like this since however and I've had other professors pass on faulty info so who knows.im not religious but what if the old tales are true and heaven and hell exist? i dont want go to hell but hell is better than forever darkness, darkness is hell for me there is not a win for me i just want to end the pain
"Hell" was an innovation of Egypt's Middle Kingdom, after the Old Kingdom (the bosses who built the pyramids) broke down in 2181 BC. The priests needed a better set of mythologies to keep people in line paying their taxes and obeying the Pharaoh, and this totally made-up story worked like a charm! It was for the purpose of controlling people
Except in the book of Revelation. It does, actually. If you're seriously interested in refuting this bullshit, you're going to have to read at least a little of it, unfortunately. In fact, the Bible nowhere teaches that heaven is the reward of the saved or that an ever-burning hell is the destiny of the condemned.
What I was trying to say in a succinct way when I stated: "In fact, the Bible nowhere teaches that heaven is the reward of the saved or that an ever-burning hell is the destiny of the condemned." is that is not taught in the Old Testament nor is it what Jesus taught in the New Testament. The Book of Revelation was not written by Jesus, nor does it contain any of His teachings.Except in the book of Revelation. It does, actually. If you're seriously interested in refuting this bullshit, you're going to have to read at least a little of it, unfortunately.
