Oh, sorry how you feel, try to stay calm, those feelings are difficult to erase but depending on what you want, try to do something that will make you forget the bad moment for now, do not do anything compulsive, CTB can fail when we do not think with a calm mind. I wish him well.

That sounds shit. I'm assuming legal action is of no use at this point? If possible I think it would be good to get away from it all. A change of scenery can do a lot for somebody with their health but suffering from mental trauma. A new start could potentially mean a better life and ideally a turn around in your desire to ctb. I know a girl who claimed she was raped by 3 guys that were in our social circle when we were younger. There were legal proceedings but it amounted to nothing. They were pretty dodgy guys though and they were still around. She moved away. Now she's living a happy life with a guy she loves. She came back for a while and was clearly happy in her skin and able to handle being in our social circle again. I guess what I'm saying is that there is a possibility for things to improve under the right circumstances if you would like that. :) Best wishes.

That must be very painful as of course we can never forget. Some people are just so cruel, no one should have to go through that. Life is very horrible and unfair. Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. My boss tried to rape me when I was 16 and thankfully the kicking and screaming made him stop. He left the country right after the court case. I hadn't realised he returned to the U.K. until he was stood in front of me in the que for the chemist. He tried talking to me I left the que and had a panic attack. I still remember how he smelt and how his weight felt on top of me.

If you ever need to talk, know my inbox is more than open. Thinking of you x

funny that you have agression to your side instead of the other. I've always found it strange
from the victim's point of view, she/he should be counting on the perpetrator to die.

That's really rough. I've avoided whole cities for the fear of walking on a sidewalk and seeing someone. I just want to affirm first and foremost that that really sucks and I'm hurting for you and hearing you. It sucks enough to carry trauma with us without having those people show up and stir it up more for us. Whatever you need or choose for today, I hope it's able to bring you more calm and distance from this moment and those memories.

I know you haven't asked for advice, but I'd like to just add that, for me, when triggers like these come up, I try to remember that hurting myself more (when not done merely for myself, to dissociate from flashbacks etc) later ends up feeling like playing even more into the goals of my abusers. But this is just how my feelings have worked in the past, and something that helps me get through similar sounding times, and I don't want this to sound at all victim blamey for the ways we choose to respond if different things work for you.

I had the extreme displeasure of seeing mine not too long ago. It's really hard, I don't really know how else to describe it. I'm so sorry you went through all that.

Edit: Men absolutely can and do get raped by women. So many shit takes here.

Men, if you're reading this and you have been raped or sexually assaulted, it's just as bad as if it happened to a woman. You have the right to say no!

By a man or a woman? Either way, of course, that's absolutely awful!
By a man

It happens rarely from what I understand but it does happen. I cant elaborate on circumstance but i assume being heavily drugged or intoxicated plays a role in it

I know two stories. One that a women inserted a pencil in a mans (urethra) into a passed out drunk guy and rode him and so he got permanent damage in his penis because of it. Another story of an american lesbian soldier who has a colleague and she went partying with him and he was very drunk so she forced her way with him. He ended up carrying a mission to kill her and her wife to avenge his rape

Men can be coerced into sex my other men or woman. I was coerced by another man into having sex. At 19, i was fit and strong but i didnt feel i could decline sex and fight him off. I could have easily but i let him assault me. I didnt realise at the time because he convinced me that his behaviour was acceptable for a man who was exploring his sexuality and identity.( Me ) . I felt threatened if i didnt comply and i was overcome with fear. Only later did i realise that this man was a serial abuser against young men. I FELT betrayed and emotionally and physically abused by this man and it was clear to me shortly afterwards, that i had infact been violated and raped by a devious human wh o knew exactly what he was doing but he chose ro exploit my sexual innocence as a reason to rape me. I felt dirty and sick. Indidnt consent, i felt compelled into it.

Strength may have nothing to do with rape. See my later post. Coercion was used against me!.

there are already many reports of women who raped children, it is rare for an adult woman to do this to an adult man but there is also

Rape isn't always about physically overpowering someone. I was raped by someone I had an intimate but predatory relationship with. Whenever I was sober, I told him multiple times over a period of time that I did not ever want to escalate to having sex with him (and in fact did not want to continue the relationship). But I was very unhappy and drinking A LOT to self-medicate. He was in my social group and I considered him a friend, but he would prey on me when I was blacked out to continue the intimate relationship. I drank.to blackout several times a week. He would encourage me to drink whenever I was with him, buying me shots. Eventually he had sex with me when I was blacked out.

It's been really hard because I feel like I have some culpability in what happened. It's really complicated.

Anyway, point being a woman could very easily rape a man with this same method.

Edit: this was meant to be a quote reply to how can a woman rape a man.

Disappointing and uninformed takes in this thread, which point aside, is also such an inappropriate and disrespectful use of this space.

Someone came here in distress, disclosed a trauma, and you want to use that space to question them on that experience?

Just affirming to all the men and masc folks that I hear and believe you in all of this.
