• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

why are people trying to live somewhere where nothing last it's pointless you would have to have levels of intelligence so inadequate to go along with this where
nothing will ever truly last especially not life even though everything is temporary it does last for a short while enough time to get some use out of it
but it's still a sandcastle with the tide coming in, They build their sandcastles and convince themselves the tide won't reach them but in the end it reach's everything
you won't ever have anything that last not yourself not love not even a home so the point to existences is to be a temporary structure into the tide inevitably comes in
it's a pointless endeavor

If you're really good at deluding yourself it's not pointless. I'm not. The majority are.

I guess people just accept that things are transitory. Some things, we want to be transitory. No one wants to do the laundry forever. Even 'fun' things probably wouldn't be fun if we did them over and over.

Plus, a reasonably long human life is still a long time to do things in. I doubt our parents were thinking that much about death- either theirs or ours, when they had us. Although, maybe they should have been. My parents really should have been. My Mum had cancer at that point.

Maybe our parents secured enough in life- maybe a home, each other, friends, hobbies to believe that life is a worthwhile investment. I can't see it myself but, I suppose it worked well for them.

I think people are kind of crazy when they're in love or horny too. All those hormones and natural drives. It must affect their reasoning. (To my mind anyhow.) Even if we ignore the new being they brought into this- why would anyone want sleepless nights and a being so demanding of them? Their time, money, energy. And at the end of it all, their child may not even like life or, them! It's surely a risk all round.
