• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Have any of you ever had success in stopping rumination? I have certain thought patterns that trigger anxiety and panic. CBT was completely useless (and expensive)

Major triggers are envy, thoughts about the future, comparison, being evaluated, etc.

Basically I wake up okay, and my brain just starts going off. And by the end of the day, I can't do anything. I'm exhausted. I go home and take sleeping pills at 4 in the afternoon and crash.

I'm on escilatopram 5 mg. Maybe if I up the dose? I hate being on drugs.

Today I managed to get out of bed, because my friend needed help and I got distracted enough.
I'm currently having massive flood of instructive thoughts and "what if" scenarios in my head about situations where I need to defend my decisions in work.
These damn thoughts always end up being violent and so they make me angry out of nothing.

Hey I struggle with severe OCD

Can't stop ruminating, any advice

My brain creates these scenes where I'm having a full blown argument or confrontation with someone.

It's like a scene, not a "what if they say this" .

It's full blown scene, I'll say this and they say that and then it escalates, then I'm angry or anxious in real time as if it's actually right happening right now. Before I realize I'm having a whole altercation in my head.

It's automatic and it's endless.

It's very imagery based rather than verbal "what ifs?"

\\\* It happens with multiple people, not just one person.

\\\* It starts automatically.

\\\* I can become emotionally activated before realizing what is happening.

\\\* I recognize afterward that it was happening in your mind.

Usually it's triggered by people who I've had a bad conflict with. It drives me insane and it's endless.
