I'm sorry if it a similar question was already asked. My Internet connection is super weak and spotty and it is very challenging for me to search for information.
I have an option to buy a 10 mm climbing rope. There are options of static and dynamic climbing rope - I am no expert, but it sounds like static is the non-stretchy one, so I'm going for static. It is supposed to hold up to 300 kg, which sounds more than good enough.
What bothers me is the thickness. Does 10 mm sound very thin? Would wrapping the rope in a scarf or something like that help?
If there is anything else I need to consider - please let me know.
Thank you.
