I like the idea of hanging and but would also like to die at home. My plan A is still full suspension outdoors at night, but I've also been toying with the idea of a sort of reversed hanging by using a counterweight. Here's an artist's interpretation:

Planb

I would be lying on an elevated surface (bed, e.g.) but have my head sticking off, slightly bent backwards. Then, I'd simply place a noose around the top of my neck and let a weight at the other end tighten the knot. Might be a good idea to also restrain the rest of the body, to protect from convulsions, but that could be difficult all alone.

Thoughts?

Caroline Flack a uk presenter was found lying on her back after hanging herself, I wonder if this is what she did or a similar method

I was thinking of full suspension hanging but using a object with the weight that is 100 lbs with the tightening part of the noose will have that 100 lbs, and your weight, tightening around your neck even more, guaranteeing blood flow restriction to the brain rather than asphyxia (aka airway blockage) as a cause of death.
you have to do it correctly though

It's creative. But personally I wouldn't mess around.....

Unless you're brave.
