Method Reminder: Be careful when handling SN

It gets into a problem area legally if a person recommends methods because you can be seen as pushing people into something or another. If you look into the suicide resources section or in the threads of the suicide discussion you can see various methods discussed. You can also search google by suicide methods to get some further ideas, and from there decide what is best for you if you choose to ctb- you may decide after researching to not do this, it sometimes happens. Key factors to consider are- what per cent of the t ime does it work, what are the consequences if it doesn't work, and which methods do you have access to. For example firearms have a high percentage of the time for working but they have extremely bad outcomes if it doesn't work- faces wrecked, brain damage, etc- so I would never use this method.

Unrelated, but if it clumps, does anyone know how to loosen it? I am afraid if I pulverize it, it will be too much or something.

Why SN have to be above 95% purity. Cant we take higher doses to ensure the lack of quality. Maybe 50g instead of 25g.

It obviously can. However 90% labeled SN is not sold.

This one is pink though it is specifically used for meat curing I'm not sure if it's the right one or not. If it will work.

Let me know if it's ok to be posting about this.

Also let me know if you think this pink one is the right one and if I can give more details.

I think that's curing salt. Mine is very white. I found a Russian company that sells sn, but upon asking is just curing salt.

I would have to check it again to ensure. I also bought another one, which the image shows several items. I'm nervous it's going to be a big order, and it might be questioned as has happened to some people.

I am also nervous since I live with my ex boyfriend that he might find out.

It's a bag of 28g of it. It feels like I got the wrong product unfortunately. It does say really big sodium nitrite but it's pink and sold as a product for meat curing.

Yeah, the pink stuff is not what you're looking for. You said you had a second product coming that's white? Check the details on that one.

However unfortunately it won't arrive till March 28-April 18. Which really sucks…

I'm also nervous the distributors will question why I got it. I didn't realize that was happening until I started reading the comments here or on some other post

Do you mean the seller from T? A member may have used SN from them to ctb... yesterday? Or the day before? I'm not sure. Anyway, there's a picture of it in the SN megathread. It comes it a bag. The seller doesn't ask questions because they don't care what you do with it. I ordered and then canceled because of how long the shipping might take. That was 4 months ago

Sadly, we have had several members presumably pass away (unintentionally) recently, upon consuming a small quantity of SN.

This is a reminder to please be cautious when handling SN. Please do not take any poisonous or lethal substance if you are not certain and/or are not ready to go. Even ingesting a small quantity of SN (as little as 2g) can be fatal and members have historically died from taking small test/rehearsal doses of SN, such as a teaspoon.

SN should only ever be taken with the understanding that this could result in dying. A rehearsal or "test" dose beforehand is not recommended.
