Venting Reddit is one of the most shittiest things to ever happen to the internet. (pointless rant)

It has some uses I guess? but overall it's a shithole as big as 4chan because at least on 4chan you know what you get into and what kind of animals you'll find. On reddit I swear to everything there is literally nothing to get from it, take r/CMV for example, people are not there to change your view for the better of yourself or themselves , and I can tell from the way they speak/act , demand , debate, THEY....they are there to change your view for a FUCKING Delta AWARD. Like what is the point really, people are literally making strawmans just to be able to say, changed your view, give me a delta, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Am I missing something with that subreddit? why are people like this, do they have a fetish where they need to show me how subhuman one can get while not letting me know about it? I KNOW ABOUT IT , STOP DOING IT , GAME OVER ,I CAUGHT YOU, FETISH OVER, STOP. It's like the dead internet theory, but that theory has bots and AI at basis, these are supposedly "REAL" people. Well actually, they are more than real people, they are REAL REAL people, because they act and do shit like they'd never do in real life, like that's any comfort to me. Oh don't worry, those pieces of shit that advocate for murder of minorities and such things? they would NEVER SAY THAT IRL , HOW'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FEEL SAFER MOTHER FUCKER, ARE YOU INSANE?, it doesn't make me feel safe, it just makes me paranoid on what kind of monster is masking around me.

Reddit was made for people who sit at the computer in their parent's basement all day so of course it became a cesspool. Although, it's pretty handy for getting answers to questions as there seems to be a subreddit for literally everything and every question you have seems to have been asked by some guy 10 years ago on r/reallyspecificsubreddit.

I like the memes that are posted on there and there are a few subreddits that are actually really fun. R/bobsburgers is pretty wholesome. Reddit on a whole, however, fucking sucks.

I originally signed up to Reddit specifically because I wanted to join the subreddit for The Garden, but that subreddit sucks so hard. Some of the people on there are cool, but a lot of them are genuinely just so fucking annoying. Sometimes, I can't tell if they even like any of the musicians apart of Vada Vada because they will just randomly make posts shitting on their music. They also will sometimes make these rude comments where they compliment one of the brothers' music by, in some way, shitting on the others. For example, both Wyatt and Fletcher released new albums this year for their solo side projects (Enjoy and Puzzle), and I remember coming across a post where someone was shitting on Wyatt's album in order to hype up Fletcher's album by saying something along the lines of how you are wrong if you prefer Sound of Deceit over Damage Collection. What was even the point of that comment? That's not even getting into the horrible jokes that people make on that subreddit, thinking that they will get a shit ton of upvotes despite them not being clever or funny. I still see people making the "Wyatt beer alcoholic" joke despite it having already been done to death and unfunny.

Then again, the fanbase for The Garden, and Vada Vada as a whole, supposedly became worse after they blew up on TikTok sometime around 2020-2021. I've heard older fans talk about how the fanbase actually used to be pretty cool but now it's filled with people from TikTok, a lot of whom don't even seem to have any respect for twins and their craft. They only like the aesthetics of The Garden and some of them only listen to them because they think that they are hot. I've even seen someone talk about going to one of their concerts and standing beside two teenage girls who spent the entire show commenting on their looks and even making gross comments about wanting to see them get incestuous with each other. You also have these newer fans being rude at shows and they even damaged the jester that they bring to their shows because they kept on grabbing it.

I became a fan of theirs back in 2023 after getting recommended music from Enjoy's latest album at the time (Exploited) while on YouTube. I got into Enjoy and I loved Wyatt's music so much that I decided to give The Garden a try after finding out about it and I fell in love with the band. Hence why I have such strong feelings about their fanbase because some of their supposed fans just suck and will even say some genuinely rude and disgusting things about them. They just really get on my nerves.

This was supposed to be a rant about Reddit but this ended up being a rant about The Garden's fanbase, lol.

Me: asks a question.
Others: politely answer the question kindly giving me a full essay on it, teaching me several things I'd have otherwise never known, also offering to provide extra help.

I have googled it in three different search engines, went through a dozen youtube walkthroughs, read every Diablo wiki, and searched all the forums and subreddits and I still can't find the answer! Hmm, seems everyone is now on the diablo subreddits, I'll ask the question there.
Me: good day, friends! I have this question I hope someone can answer it, I have tried to search for the solution all over the internet but found nothing.
Reddit: downvotes, ignores, tells me I'm stupid and lazy, tells me to search for the solution myself, tells me to touch grass (while my post history has 15 posts in three years and they have 15 posts per day for ten years), makes a stupid joke, posts stupid memes, grammar polices me assuming I'm a native english speaker, assumes I'm a white cis hetero male American who votes for the "enemy" party, tell me to kms

Reddit is just a monopoly of socialisation on the internet, if you want to socialise with others you have to do it through their deeply immoral cesspool service. It's depressing how they've consumed most conversation on the internet and made peoples' lives worse just to make some more money for themselves. As always, humans are the worst, it would be desirable for humans to go extinct.
