Have spent more than a year in writing a PoC and then building resources to start my own company and just realized I won't be able to due to how the world works (at least in the West). 
I've now to reorient back to what my original skills were, up skill and go through interviews yet again. I don't think I'll be able to. I was hoping to act more in the leadership/political space as a CTO, though now I've to make it for a senior role and somehow magically make 5 years not being employed look like it's not a problem.
