  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I made my first attempt a few months ago, and if it wasn't for the bar falling on me, I would have succeeded. Since then I spent over a month in a psych ward, and afterwards i've been trying to get my life back on track but no one is listening to me, no matter how many times I ask for help. I don't enjoy anything anymore and It seems that i'd be better off dead. However, I recently got a cat in order to find some companionship and although I love him to bits, I am worried about what will happen to him after i'm gone. I know my parents could look after him, but I'm afraid he won't be looked after properly. Any advice as to what to do, to ensure he gets the life he deserves? I'm in the UK, btw.

I'm in the same boat as you. I plan on giving cats away and making sure a friend looks after while hopefully they are adopted and find a new home

I have 2 cats and a dog. I would definitely try to rehome them before ctb so they won't end up in shelters or die in my apartment right along with me since it'd probably take weeks to find my body since no one ever checks on me.

The Cats Protection League are very good, i once had to move due to my mental health and i had two cats. I contacted them and they were extremely helpful.
