On a tragic day like Thursday 26 December for pro-lifers, the story of OG Maco reminds us that self-determination has prevailed. While pro-lifers seek to erect ideological monuments, OG Maco has chosen to exercise his fundamental right: to decide for himself. His choice, although painful, represents a victory for individual freedom against those who would like to impose their own vision of life. It is a reminder to recognize the value of autonomy and personal dignity, even in the most difficult circumstances. Today, the real victory is that of those who claim the right to choose..
