  • How rare is it to have diarrhoea or stomach pain after ingesting lethal does of SN? What cause it?

  • Is it okay to drink water after taking the SN doses?
Or is it a big no-no?

  • Does Ingesting larger doses at first, helps increase chances of losing consciousness early or does it usually lead to vomiting?

Bonus:
  • is everyone aware SN causes cancer in the long run,
I want to know how it cause cancer in the case of a failed attempt. (Internally or some other reason?)

  • I also read that SN is poisonous even with physical contact with the skin, this is true also I assume?

(I read the bonus "claims" on a Chinese online source that discuss SN poisoning.)

1. Not reported for diarrhea in this context. Stomach pain. A very few have reported discomfort. The vast majority do not
2. No. Not ok
3. Yes a larger dose is important for fast action. Many (or most) will vomit after taking SN
4. Yes. Single exposure cancers outside of radiation are EXCEEDINGLY rare. It is such a remote risk to the huge trade off of a relatively easy and peaceful compound.
5. Not really. It is used in food preservation and for curing meats.

It is okay to drink some water after taking the sn dose but i would try to avoid it. It's not a big no-no
It's more likely to vomit if you take more SN

1. No diarrhea, only time you poop is after you go unconscious and your sphincter relaxes that poop just comes out. It's natural.
2. No, you're already loaded with water and salts, that taking in anymore wouldn't be beneficial. You can use the water to rinse your mouth out to get that salty taste out, but don't swallow.
3. Large heavy doses may cause you to vomit, that's why 25G is the magic number, any more than that and your body will expel it out.
4. Not sure on this although the doctor told me I just decreased my life expectancy by 10 years doing it. Heart related I believe.
5. No, you can touch it and rub it on your body but it won't produce a chemical burn. People rub SN on meats for food preservation.

Some people seem to have stomach pain because they already have irritation, it's literally putting salt on a wound. One should die before they ever get diarrhea. I've seen diarrhea mentioned in failure accounts where someone didn't do the regimen right.

It's a big no-no because it will dilute the SN and therefore one may not reach the fatal level of methemoglobemia. That's the point of using 100ml of water or less.

Look at Stan's old posts or the SN megathread from around a year ago. I'm not sure why it's the consensus on the forum that one wants enough but not too much, thought I've seen a lot of repeated reasons why with no sources.

Bonus:

I googled this in the past, I don't have sources, but I came to the understanding that one would need long-term exposure to SN at more toxic levels. I would not at all be concerned about getting cancer from attempts, but that's my personal opinion. There was one member quite a while back who kept posting a Wikipedia link that SN is carcinogenic, but if you research, it's not a big thing. SN is commonly used in foods, and it is also a treatment for certain conditions, I think there would be studies out there linking it to cancer if it were a thing.
  • I also read that SN is poisonous even with physical contact with the skin, this is true also I assume?
First, there has been an attempt with topical application of SN with DMSO (solvent for absorption) and they survived but had a lot of SN symptoms. Second, when I blood tested SN I couldn't bleed enough to make drops so I put it on the small open wound, and I experienced symptoms. Third, when I tested putting SN in capsules, I didn't wear gloves, and I touched SN for about 10 minutes and my heart rate started to elevate, I drank a bunch of water and I was fine, but yes, it's poisonous in contact with the skin.

When I weighed out the sodium nitrite on a digital scale I was surprised that 25 grams equated to only about 5 small plastic teaspoons of it. It seemed like a small amount on the digital scale. I would really appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks so much.

When I tested my SN, I weighed out 5g and it looked to be about a teaspoon, maybe 2.

Thank you. How many teaspoons of sodium nitrite on a digital scale equates to 20 grams or 25g?? When I waited on my digital scale it wasn't that many teaspoons for that amount. I just can't see such a small amount sodium nitrite being lethal. Thank you very much.
I meant weighed. Sorry.
