Help Questions about partial hanging

In the partial hanging method it says pushing your fingers against the carotid arteries (external carotid arteries) will make you pass out in a few seconds but;

01. I did not pass out
02. The external carotid arteries don't even go to the brain the internal ones does and you can't locate them from your fingers

Is the method wrong? And I just watched a partial hanging video and it was so fucked up and the person definitely felt everything and didn't pass out in seconds.

What should I do? Thinking about placing my neck on the rails for the train to slice maybe

Maybe try less violent methods first than going straight for the train tracks

Same here, I can't seem to find the carotids whenever I'm pressing with my fingers or trying with a rope (I only get the pressure feeling I suppose you get when compressing the jugulars). It seems so easy to achieve for some though...

I don't give a fuck about how traumatized the driver will be or how my body will look after my death.

I'm afraid that it WON'T be instant. That's why I'm trying to get ahold of SN rather than jumping. Most anecdotal reports of SN just say they had some nausea and vomiting before passing out quickly, so I don't think it'd be so bad

How could it be not instant? I'm not talking about jumping in front of the train, I'm talking about placing the neck directly on the rail tracks so that way I'll just get beheaded by the train.

Do modern train engines have "cow catchers" that push things off of their path? I always wondered about that.

There's no guarantee you would be beheaded. it could just disfigure you or leave you maimed / paralyzed / vegetative.

I fear that there is a suffocation element. I've never watched the videos though.

Well actually I don't have the link but I also some other partial hangings and tbh they looked peaceful than the one I mentioned earlier
