The one thing that has failed to have been mentioned, thus far, is that if you lie to any question on the form, there will be legal consequences for you. For instance, if the questionnaire asks you have you ever been involuntarily confined, or adjudicated mentally incompetent, or something like that, and you have, but you answer no, you can find yourself in some serious trouble.

I went in with an ID and just was able to purchase one after passing the background check. Different by state though.
