  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hi, my question is, after the bag is filled up with gas, the bag is put over the head, and consciousness is lost. Now if the gas for some reason stops flowing then there is no way to survive, right? Like after the consciousness is lost, I can't wake up or pull the bag over off the head? Assuming that the bag doesn't break or let in the oxygen.
If this is true then I just know that there is nothing that can possibly go wrong after consciousness is lost.
Thanks

The bag is supposed to be snug. Enough to create a 0% oxygen environment with the constant flow of nitrogen but not too much in order to let the air you breathe go out.

It depends when exactly the gas stops flowing. If it stops when you have been in said 0% oxygen environment for 12 minutes or more, then yes at this point you're 100% dead. But if it happens at 3 minutes for example, chances are you'll be brain-damaged and still alive.

3 minutes might sound ridiculous but a human brain deprived of oxygen for 180 seconds becomes an absolute mess.

But there is no reason for your gas to stop flowing unless you don't have enough gas to begin with.
