• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If I partner with someone else in Canada and we're both suicidal, let's say we use the CO method, and one of us survives can the survivor get charged?

I just thought of this. I don't think I'll be able to exit with someone else now because of this risk. It looks like you could get criminally charged.

Yes. That's the thing. It could happen. There used to be a warning about this on the partners thread here, they changed the whole thread recently, but I think it's probably still there.

Depending on where in the world you are and how your laws are... yes, the survivor could very well be arrested as an accomplice or perhaps manslaughter or some kind of negligence for not trying to stop the other person... and that's on top of whatever you'd like be charged for in terms of trying to kill yourself. You likely get slammed twice and locked up for mental health as well.

There is a risk of being in a "suicide pact" or trying to exit together of this happening. Also, I've wondered about CO and if people are adequately taking into account the additional human there and how much more CO needs to be there to take multiple people out. Some methods might be more likely than others to leave someone still alive in the aftermath.

I would not let it influence my decision. For CO at least, it's pretty easy (imo) to almost guarantee both of your success

With CO you can make it look like an accident
Probably not if I'm using charcoal briquettes and doing it in a tent or something along those lines. They could probably also check my phone and be like yeah this was intentional.
