I generally don't think traumatizing innocent bystanders is the best idea. You definitely shouldn't be committing suicide in front of children.

Mine is likely going to be public and sure feel a bit guilty about it but it's how it has to be .
It's hard to ctb without at least affecting some people, someone has to find your body either way

Tbf in UK you might be sectioned by police but they can only do a s136 which only lasts up to 24h to take to you to A&E or other 'place of safety' for an assessment . And after assessment psych teams are unlikely to admit you/ section you to ward if no other reasons to .
Could also be arrested. Some people have been charged for attempts by police , such as 'public nuisance' due to holding up traffic after trying to jump off bridge . Usually people charged are ones who have tried multiple times but not always.

I don't think this shit world deserves any consideration. I'm not doing anything public, but that's because I don't have to. If my options were limited to something public, and I had no other way, believe me, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Screw this world.

Discretion as far as not doing it in front of children I will agree with. I just feel like the way things are going, odds are that most children will experience trauma at an early age regardless. People just need to stop having children in general. Other than that, I don't think this fucked up world deserves any consideration from anybody.

Just because life didn't work out for us in the end doesn't mean we should be indifferent toward making other people's lives worse. At least if you ask me. The world can still be a terrific place for a lot of good people.

In private you don't have to worry about being interrupted by some desperate random life saver. But what matters even more is the idea of being recorded. I spent too much time on wpd in the past to trust anyone that they'd be respectful enough to not record you dying and upload it on some gore forums. Probably the last thing I'd ever want to experience.

Most of us here feel that we are inconsequential. Our deaths would be unlikely to impact anyone very much. If we thought it would, we probably wouldn't be here. Society has gotten to a point where school shootings are an everyday thing with no real effort to delve deep into the root problem. People get stabbed in the street for no reason. It's more common to go into a store and take what you want than pay for it. Corruption rules everything. No one gives a shit about anything anymore.

For the very small percentage of people that the world can be a terrific place for, I hope that continues. But I'm not going to bend over backwards to make sure other people aren't effected. Society doesn't deserve that kind of extra effort. At least not from me. And like I said, I'll be to dead to even care.
