  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Yes.

I ate better than I did at home although the food was bland.

I wanted to get out of the place since I was involuntarily committed.

I wanted to get back to the nothing I called a life.

I watched a lot of tv.

It was pretty boring.

There were no groups because of covid.

Overall, not terrible. It likely would have been better if it wasn't during covid.

Psychiatric medicine is the application of drugs to address a diagnosed mental condition. If the diagnosis is off, the treatment can make things worse. Some do benefit from medication.

It can be a good idea to check out the medical professional you see to see if he is open to experimentation regarding doages as well as particular drugs. You may want to avoid a medical professional who does not take the time to draw you out or is unwilling to change something when it isn't working.

It did more harm then good for me imo. I have social anxiety and agoraphobia. Along with other things but those two mainly made it horrible

I have spent time in a psychiatric hospital. It is boring and demoralizing but not terrible. Yet you are subjected to diagnosis and then the administration of medication, which may not be relevant to your case.

I was in hospital for 18 months. Just as you get used to the safety of the hospital they discharge you back into the stinking real world. I'm probably worse now than before I went in. Some of the staff were nice but some of them were arseholes that shouldn't be in that job.
